IJONDA Ballet Slipper Pink Adult Toe Shoes Practice Dance Shoes

I really struggled to know how to write this review. On the one hand, these shoes met my needs. *HOWEVER* these needs are not regular pointe classes/training. I am a "retired amateur" (I did ballet for 16 years) who agreed to help a friend out with a photo project by donning some pointe shoes and striking a pose. These shoes will hold up to that (though the toe pads they included were not adequate in my mind-- I used an old pair I had lying around instead). However, I am not convinced that they would hold up to regular class/training. I applied slight pressure on the shank to bend it (as most dancers do with a new pair of shoes), and it snapped. Now, some dancers do choose to break the shanks, but my point is that it should have taken a great deal more effort to do so-- my intention was just to bend them slightly. All this aside, my biggest problem with these shoes is that a beginner could do great damage to their feet by not being fitted properly, and this seller makes it appear as though being fitted for toe shoes is as simple as buying a fun pair of summer sandals. Parents, please do not buy toe shoes for your daughter online-- especially not the first time or for as long as she is still growing. Once a dancer has quit growing and has enough experience to know how toe shoes should fit, it is certainly more cost and time effective to buy replacement shoes online (just not these ones). But a dancer new to pointe with still growing feet could do severe and permanent damage to her toes and metatarsals if the shoe is not fitted properly. Take her to a dance supply store and have her fitted, please!! For her own safety!! In sum, these shoes are a great and cost effective option for costume purposes, but can't recommend them for anyone taking pointe classes with any seriousness, and I definitely cannot recommend them for beginners. Take care of your feet!!

These are beautiful & fit perfectly. I’m a size 8 1/2 usually, ( narrow / normal sized foot ) fits like a glove with the toe pads. Also would like to mention the toe pads are very comfortable in these shoes. Thank you!!

The shoes are beautiful, perfect for a little girl who needs to practice! But...we ordered her shoe size and measured as it said. The shoes were too little, so I requested permission to return, printed the label, got the package ready and sent them back the same day we received them. At the same time I placed a new order for a size bigger. When the credit was issued it was $7.18 less than what I paid. I found nothing on their web page or Amazon's page that declared there would be any type charge for a return. Now I wish I'd ordered the new shoes from another supplier than Ijenda!!

Came with girl toe pads and ribbons already attached! I ordered a size larger and they are a bit big. True to size :)

I am truly impressed with the price and quality of these pointe shoes! It was a bit difficult to break them in, however the size and build of the shoes are perfect for me. I normally wear a size 7 and I order an exact 7 and it ended up being a tad bit larger, but when I wear them with the gel pads/extra padding that comes along with them they fit perfectly. I do intend on purchasing these shoes in the future.

They fit perfectly I like be them! I really like the inserts!

I bought 2 pairs and one pair didn't come with the silicone pads not very happy was for a gift for a birthday

I have had them for 3 months and they are still in good shape! Definitely worth the money
