Magnets are plenty strong, nice & thick rubbery/plastic cover so it doesn't scratch your guns. Problem is, because you will repeatedly use this item, it needs to be screwed in tight. When I did, the screws began to tear through the plastic part, so when I remove my gun, it stretches and tries to pull/tear the plastic off. (Not exactly sure why, but it does.) I was afraid that the plastic will tear soon, so I found some washers and used them under the screws to help prevent them from tearing through the plastic cover. I hope this will last. Seems to be a minor design flaw though. Larger-headed screws would fix it.

As stated this magnet is perfect. Super strong. Hold every gun. A single magnet can hold my AR-15 by the barrel. (I have not mounted the magnet so I cannot rate the 3M tape nor the screws that come with it)HOWEVER...there are some reviews about the low quality of the magnet. IT IS NOT THE MAGNET. It is your gun. The strength of the hold is going to depend on the material of the gun.I have a M&P9 2.0. This magnet holds the gun perfectly but only by the slide. Trying to put the magnet else where does not work. This isn't a problem with the magnet; it's a problem with the gun.I have a M&P 15. This magnet hold the gun perfectly...but only by the barrel. There is no where else I can put the magnet do the material the rifle is made of. Again, this isn't a problem with the magnet.All in all, this product is amazing. The magnet is super strong. I probably wouldn't trust the 3M tape to hold the magnet when you take off the gun. The magnet seems too strong.. I plan on mounting with screws anyway (will update if the screws aren't up to par)Would definitely buy this product knowing what I know now. Would recommend.

Worked perfect for my project I built, a gun rack for my office. They hold the pistols perfectly and tightly without allowing any slippage. They have a non-marring plastic coating so you don't have to worry about it causing any damage to your weapons.

Magnets were delivered just as shown in a nice box with some small drywall screws. If used for a handgun then they are absolutely perfect. For rifles or shotguns, the have some challenges. Pro: They were designed raised up so that they protrude away from the wall most likely so that they could attached to rifles with different attachments. Con: Due to the varying weights, unfortunately one magnet was not strong enough to hold my my Rem 870 shotgun with a standard barrel that weighed less than 17 lbs. as it tended to slide on the magnets or spin. . I had to orientate it so that something was stopping it from sliding. If used in conjunction with a small bracket below the rifle preventing it from sliding down, it would probably work great. I will wait til I get the smaller barrel for my Rem 870 which will lighten it a little and give it a better center of balance. I will update.Also, these will not work on all guns especially Polymer bodied guns. Would not work on my CZ 805 Bren Pistol or my CZ Scorpion carbine which I use for home defense. That's a bummer seeing that was why I bought them. I will give them a 3 because there are magnets and could most likely hold the described weight like a dumbbell but not necessarily on longer guns with varying weights and certainly not on Polymer bodied guns..I will update when I try them on some other rifles.

These magnet gun holders are great. Being a retired officer, I have carried a gun with me for more years than I care to add up. I hardly notice I have it on anymore but when sitting at my desk working at my new career, it can get uncomfortable as many of you know. These TLO Outdoors Gun Magnet Magnetic Holster Mounts are great to keep my gun close and out of sight with out it digging into my side. I highly recommend them. I will be ordering at least 4 more sets to place guns at various locations through out my home. Well done TLO

Great magnets for the price!They hold my smaller fully loaded Glock 43 just as good as it hold my loaded full size Glock 19x with a pulse 5 extension. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a magnet for their vehicle.

Product arrived before the promised date. Works perfectly and comes with high quality deep thread wood screws so you can install right away...no trips to a hardware store! I like that the magnets are an inch or so deep...this makes it so that if you choose to stick your pistol with the grip going horizontal, you have room to get your fingers between the grip and the surface of whatever you have the magnets mounted on.

Good price and you always need two, so, great the it came in a two pack. 25lbs is fine for in home use. I'm not sure how well it will hold my XD tactical 9mm in a bumpy car/truck.I would like the surface to be a little more rubbery.I will buy more.

Magnetic strength is excellent, the build quality is very good and came well packaged and complete. This product must be screwed or bolted to a surface. Magnet only on tall side. This not a "bad" thing, it simply is a feature of this design. Great if you want to mount to wood surface. I used #8 bolts in my gun cabinet to mount them under a steel shelf so the pistols simply hang down from the magnets. The acorn nut I used on the above shelf was cut into the hard sponge mats I use on every shelf.

Good product for holding a rifle/shotgun leaning standing against a wall.Plus you get 2 of them so you can try different positions.Easily supports a hand gun to if legal in your state.

Finally got around to installing this. Does the job. Holds a 12 guage just fine

Seems like a good product, would not hold my airsoft pistol though but not the products fault. Probably more aluminum than steel in my gun.

They definitely do the job but pretty expensive for magnets.
