Special treat
This is something of a cross between bread, cake, and a biscuit. It has all the best qualities of each. What I like the most are the little sugar granules on the top of the panettone. I wish this was available year round but it's limited availability makes it that much special.

It came with best by date of March/2018
I bought this panettone last year and it was great. So I decided to buy it again this year. I was very disappointed when I received the item today (11/28/2018) and saw the "best by date", 03/31/2018. I hope they will check their stock and toss the old stuff to avoid selling products that can make people sick. I believe it was an honest mistake, but sadly I'm not buying this product from them again.

Mostly sugar. Unhealthy, and not worth the money.
The bread arrived well-wrapped and presentable, yet one side was permanently squished. It had a strong, distinct smell of brown sugar. Respectively, it tasted like sugar and much else. This is a rather unhealthy product that clearly contains an extraordinary amount of sugar. It is also significantly overpriced, given that it is essentially a sugar bun. I cannot recommend it in good faith.
