Kingston memory, always an excellent standard. I've been using other brands in personal builds recently but purchased a Dell gaming PC for one of my sons as it was on sale cheaper than I could build. The only drawback was the 2400 MHz memory. As I planned to replace anyway I just got 8 GB. What I didn't realize was that the MB in the model won't support XMP profiles. Thus you are limited to 2666 MHz tops. The second issue is that many of the, even 3000+, memory available relies on XMP to reach that while their normal SPD is 2133 MHz. Because the 5680 doesn't have XMP buying expensive memory doesn't mean you will get the faster 2666 MHz but rather actually slower memory at 2133 MHz in many cases.After much research I found that this memory has an SPD of 2666 MHz so I placed an order and hoped it would work properly once installed.The memory arrived this morning and I can now state that that full 16GB was recognized by the system at 2666 Mhz. It's not a huge boost from 2400 MHz but it's definitely not slower either.Never had issues with Kingston memory so, knock on wood, I don't expect this to be any different in the long term. I have seen a lot of message on the net about trying to get the correct memory for these systems, here it is. If you want to upgrade the memory in a Dell 5680, buy this.

I will keep my review simple and to the point!!!Since purchasing my Alienware Aurora R7 GTX 1080 from Bestbuy 3 weeks ago. I have been on a mission to update my rig with my desired upgrades. First, I replaced the Intel Optane SSD & HD hybrid system which was awfully slow with a Samsung 970 Pro SSD. Results are lighting fast boots, game and application load times. I highly recommend this upgrade if you are a serious gamer.Next, I wanted to replace my gaming rig's factory installed and cheap Kingston Value RAM memory modules. What a task to accomplished. I have done extensive online research, talked to various in-store computer "so-called" professionals, as well as calling Alienware Technical Support and to no avail, I could NOT find the "RIGHT" replacement memory for my computer. I bought and returned Corsair memory sticks (Vengenance 2.4 GHZ & 2.66 GHZ) and they all resulted in incompatibility due to the Alienware's proprietary CAS latency issues (CL 17-17-17), so I attempted the Easter egg hunt approach. I am writing this review so you do not have to experience the pain of having to attempt buying and returning numerous memory sticks."Bottom Line Up Front" (BLUF), if you own an Alienware Aurora and you want to upgrade your system to 2933 MHZ, stop wasting your time and buy these sticks. I've been a fan of Kingston RAM for a long time. Never had to RMA any memory of theirs, never needed to return a DOA, and never felt like I was being ripped off (*cough*Corsair*cough*). Their new DDR4 HyperX Fury line is no different from my past experience.The low-profile heat spreader has the HyperX Fury name emblazoned on it, and generally speaking, the RAM looks great in slim-case builds, builds with cooler clearance concerns, builds where tall spreaders just don't work, and really any build where you don't want RAM so tall that you could sail a ship with it.This is the second 8GB stick of HyperX Fury RAM I've purchased, as I gradually brought a tiny little slimline sleeper build up to 16GB. Both sticks have passed repeated MemTest86 runs with no errors. Again, Kingston makes quality RAM, and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. In operation, they're plenty snappy, even given their low clock. I haven't tried to overclock them at all because, well, my sleeper rig has an i3-6100 and a GTX 750 Ti half-width card paired with a 300W power supply, and I'd rather not set my house on fire.The picture included is one stick of HyperX Fury inside of said sleeper build. Looks nice alongside the black/white Cryorig C7 cooler, doesn't it?Seriously, if you want good quality DDR4 with a heat spreader, this is the way to go. It's cheap, it's beautiful, it lasts, and it will have a home in every build I do that doesn't support and/or need higher-clocked RAM.

Not the highest speed memory available, but is well matched to the ASUS B360 motherbord that I used in my most recent PC build. This memory is listed on the QVP sheet for this motherboard.But a word of caution. When choosing memory, be sure to check the MB specs that state the maximum speed that it will operate the memory. Most modern motherboards are compatible with faster memory than they can actually use. For instance, the specs may say that the MB will work with 3000 MHz DDR4, but will only operate it at 2166 MHz DDR4. Though these specs may be hard to find, the reality in this case is that the extra cost for the 3000 MHz memory is wasted, since it will still get operted at just 2166 MHz.UPDATE -- One more thing: While the faster memory may actually function, although at the lower speed determined by the CPU and chipset, there is an annoying problem that does ocurr when the extra fast memory is installed. I found that the BIOS, or UEFI, may take 2 full minutes to complete the POST when the 3000 MHz DDR4 memory was installed. But when the preferred speed memory was installed the POST typically completed in 7 - 20 seconds with 2666 MHZ DDR4 memory modules in this particular ASUS MB.

The media could not be loaded.  Great for price but one broke already quality needs some work
