Great Larger Group Game
My husband and I love this game! Camel Up is a betting game where everyone has the option during their turn to either place a bet on which camel they think will win the round, which camel they think will win or lose the overall game, or they can roll the dice to see which camel moves. Very simple to play, easy to teach. It plays best with 6-8 people in my opinion, but we’ve also have had fun playing with 4. The game are looks great and I love the addition of the pop up palm trees and pyramid rolling dice contraption. Everyone we’ve played this game with has enjoyed it and that has included gamers and non-gamers alike. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Greaty Party/Family Game, Full of Laughter and Standout Moments
GAME COMPONENTSThe game has stunning art-work. With Beautiful pop-up tree that stands out. The egyptian theme comes out nicely by the pop-up palm trees, the great dice roll pyramid and ofcourse the camels! The component quality is good/premium. The camels stack nicely on top of each others. The pyramid dice roll is amazing. The card quality for betting is okay. And the coins are good as they're made of plastic (and not cardbaoard), but still size could have been little bigger.GAMEPLAYGame is very simple to teach. You have 5 colored dice to control which camels moves by how many steps. There is one dice to control two crazy camels which run backwards. If a camel lands on top of another crazy camel, it could move backwards along with crazy camels! The game is highly luck-based and is supposed to be some fun time with friends and family, where you just sit back, sip on beers and watch those crazy camels run every which way! One could say that people with good maths and probability calculation would do well in the game by predicting what color die are left in the pyramid, and what outcomes are possible, but that's just as far as it goes. The dice rolls are random, player actions could change that with +1, -1 tiles, the crazy camels could disrupt your planning and bunch of other factors!Every game we played was unique and full of laughs. The excitement of rolling a die as to what would fall out of the pyramid and then waiting to see what face would be at the top (1/2/3). It just adds to the excitment. There would be games where one camel would come out of the blocks running ahead of everybody else, just to end of on top of a crazy camel which takes it backwards! The game is silly. And every time we played it with friends, they were thoroughly entertained. The repeated plays, one after the other could get somewhat boring though.CONCLUSIONThis is great game for parties and holiday gaming with friends and family. It's quick to setup, easy to teach and fun to play. I've played it with varying group sizes of 3-8 people and every time it was super-fun with standout moments. The game has great table presence and appeals to the audience of all types/groups.I highly recommend it for your collection.

Easy to learn harder to master.
Lots of fun for me and my kids age 8-13 but difficulty with higher level reasoning makes it unlikely that my younger kids will have a chance at winning at there current ages. That being said watching the Camels race is the fun and no one seems upset that they didn't win.Enough to chew on for adults as well to keep it engaging. In fact it's a very different game with a group of adults. Also the storage in the box is fantastic. It's not a huge deal but it is a little touch that makes getting the game out and putting it away much easier.

What's not to love about a Camel game?
Camel Up is a family favorite in our house. It's a great game for essentially anyone who enjoys board games. We had the original version which we love, this is the new version and it has a plastic pyramid (more durable), additional camels for more players, and includes 2 camels that go backward to add a plot twist unexpectedly during the game. This version also allows for some collaboration between players when you are playing with more than 4. It's as much luck as it is strategy but it is super fun and fairly quick to play, taking around a half hour or so. The board and pieces are well made. It's more expensive than many board games, but also very different from any other board game I've played and if you enjoy board games it's worth it.

A lot of family fun
My wife loves board games so bought her this for Christmas, she and I have had great fun playing this together as well as with my family and hers. It’s a straight forward game of chance, you “bet” on outcomes and then win on that. The outcome can change in the space of a round and we have had many a laugh while playing. It is another great game for playing together in a “competitive” way without there being any real animosity. There is a winner and a loser but it is mostly determined by luck and there is little each player can do to affect the other player’s game, so I found it to be a very fun, peaceful, relaxing board game to play with others. There are less fights and more laughs with this game than any other.Great family and friends game, especially if you know super competitive people that get upset with losing or perceived inequality within a competitive game. It’s just really good fun betting pretend money on a crazy out come.

Great game
Bought after a recommendation and reading some reviews online. Initially it takes a while to understand what you can and can’t do during a turn. Played with my niece and sister remotely as they both had tested positive for COVID and were isolating in different rooms at their house as tested positive at different times. As you are betting on the camels and they aren’t your playing pieces it worked rather well. Although the bet on overall winner and loser had to be face up rather than face down cards. Had to be a bit creative with cameras so they could see the board to take their turns. One of our favour board games now. Good quality product as well.

Soooooo Fun!!
I have heard about this game when the first edition came out. I am not a big fan of board games but I needed some fun as family during this lockdown so I finally decided to buy one (and I chose this 2nd ed instead of the first Ed)I am so glad I bought it! My kids, 7 & 10 enjoy it and so do we (grown up).It is so fun. The mix of predictions, strategies, lucks and crazy camels make this game so exciting.

Great game to play with friends
Amazing game to play with friends. It says its for 3 to 8 people but I think 5 players is the best. The board and components are very well made and the dice throw (the pyramid) looks well made.To learn the game we watched some YT videos and after first round we all knew how to play it.We had a lot of fun playing it and will definitely play it more times. Worth to buy it.

Buy this it’s good!
This game was an instant hint with my kids and my extended family. Even the most grumpy of teens can’t fail to smile when you see a stack of Camels running the wrong way around the race track and scuppering dads big betting scheme. It’s simple to learn, very well presented and there is a delightful oooh moment when you open the board for the first time... you’ll see no spoilers here.
