I love this little gem it is just great ,I never owned a real NeoGeo but have had almost every console ,or the most popular from the Sega master system onwards , yes I have the mini PS1 and SNes and think they are very good but think this one beats them hands down just by the build quality ,the great screen on it sharp as a mastermind winner ,and even the packaging feels quality from the matt finished box its in the way the controllers are even packaged ,and each box comes in its own bag, within the box ,I nearly did not want to open it.OK now to the interesting bit the games on the hole, the games play very well and unlike the Nintendo and Sony mini consoles they play them all wide screen through HDMI ,Thy look OK ,some have said they are a bit fuzzy or blured but to be honest my old eye thought it looked OK .But as stated did not play them first time round ,So all new to me ,love Metal Slug ,just great old school fun. If you love old school retro gaming buy it ,you will love it . looks good as well .the controllers fit in your hand like a Nintendo SNES controller with a joy stick but bigger , and with 40 games on it not bad compared to 20 on ps1 mini and 21 on SNES mini ,Buy it you will love it if you are old like me and wondered what you missed all those years ago as I just could not afford a NeoGeo back in the dayShop around because it goes for a range of prices up to £50:00 difference and by the collector pack think it was the best deal .

A truly great selection of games, and nowadays not a hugely expensive price tag - I got it with two controllers and a mini-HDMI cable for £89.99. The emulation is good (including all the slowdown you remember), the built-in screen is incredible, the UI is acceptable and the experience of having a tiny playable NeoGeo arcade is great. Connecting extra controllers and attaching it to a screen are both simply plug and play.There's been a lot written about two contentious aspects of this mini consoles:1) The "analogue" nature of the stick and the controllers2) The bluriness of the HDMI outputI can give my opinions.1) It would be nice to have "clicky" controls but it's not a dealbreaker for me at all. I was able to perform well at Metal Slug and instantly throw out special moves in Fatal Fury Special with zero issues. Being slightly suboptimal doesn't mean it's bad - these games are still great, and this is a fun way to play them.2) It is blurry - but honestly it doesn't bother me. The NeoGeo AES - the home console version of the NeoGeo - wasn't made for 2020's ultra high def displays with super sharp pixels, this is pretty accurate to how games looked for 99% of people playing them at the time of SNK's heyday. Like with point 1, this isn't a dealbreaker for me at all, the games still have great animation and vibrant colours and play fantastically well. I don't really care that it doesn't look like it would if you played the games on an emulator on your computer monitor because that isn't how they were even meant to be played.Don't regret my purchase at all, I love this!

Overall a great item for anyone looking to collect all the minis or fan of the neo Geo. But compared to the Nintendo ones it just doesn't cut if. But great display piece

Fantastic!Good old fashioned arcade gaming built into a very clever device added to the fact that 2 controllers and hdmi lead is included for a great price what’s not to like?Graphics are excellent for such a device and delivery and service was excellent.

Brilliant was a little sceptical about purchasing this but well worth the money brought for my daughters 9th birthday she loves it and so do I ! Would highly recommend

I got mine a couple of month ago and I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. I have played a fair bit of neogeo cd and MVS and really enjoyed playing on this. I would also say look up Johnny Liu on YouTube to add games.
