Ginseng get up and go find your wallet!
I personally hadn't heard of the Potter's brand before trying this, but from reading their history you can see that any company that has been around for 200+ years, must have a decent track record in offering quality produce to keep themselves in business. It's very comforting when you read about them to get a sense of science and sustainability in the creation of their products. It gives you a sense of a company bound in ethics and offering truly well researched products that offer the maximum benefit they are advertised to, there is no sense of some new age guess work at play here! The product itself is nice, tastes absolutely fine. You need to work off a regimen of taking once every morning (with food ideally) for a total of 4 weeks to start feeling the full extent and range of the ginseng benefits. I've been taking for a few days now, and I can definitely see a little uptick in my energy during the day, so look forward to continuing on to see where I end up.Only thing to be aware of is the price (this is the two stars off). You need to take a 15ml shot daily, and the bottles are 250ml. Without being overly precise, based on current price and required intake, it's near enough £1/shot. So you will need at least two bottles to get the full 4 week course, so that's nearly £30. For a years use, you're kicking on to £360.If you reap the benefits that is obviously great, but you would need to see pretty significant upsides to shell out hundreds of pounds a year for it right? I know they are not exactly the same, but I can buy a full YEARS supply of Ginseng tablets for £45. There's no two ways about it, this stuff is expensive!

A breakfast time 'Pick-me-up.'
I've been using the Potter's range of health products for over forty years now. It's a business that's actually been going for over two hundred years. So, I tend to be trustful of them as a company in regards to their high standards, and the quality of the ingredients they use in their healthcare formulations.Although I've used ginseng before, and believe in its benefits, I hadn't actually tried this Potter's Energise Tonic before. I found it to be a pleasant enough taste, and I like the fact that a small plastic vial is included - with a 15ml mark, which is the daily dosage. Simply take 15ml with your breakfast - and you're raring to go! In truth, like many health supplements, your body takes a month to start reaping the optimum benefits. So, with this bottle holding just over 16 days supply, you'll ideally need to invest in another bottle to realise it's full potential. It's worth mentioning that this tonic arrives in environmentally-friendly packaging - a cardboard box contains a glass bottle with a metal screw lid, and a small plastic vial. All of these materials are easily recyclable - so that fact alone gets a big thumbs up from me. Anyway, if you're wishing to supplement your diet with ginseng, I think this product is well worth considering.

Taste is a major obstacle to potential health benefits
I’m sorry Potter’s Herbals but the Energise Tonic tastes so bad I couldn’t manage a regular or sustained regime, so I’m never going to be able to judge the long-term benefits of Panax Ginseng G115 Extract. Sorry.

Potter will be whizzing round in his grave - contains SORBITOL
I was enormously happy to request this, we are all needing to make sure we keep our vitality good, and Potter's is a well established herbal brand, so this was why I took this. And then I saw that Sorbitol was in there to make it palatable. Yes I KNOW this impacts cost, but why not use a perfectly safe and even beneficial sweetener, like honey. And why LACE the taste to disgusting sweet levels. This is a medicine/supplement for heaven's sake and does not need to taste like something tastebuds YEARN for.Although, yes, sorbitol, a sugar alcohol, does occur naturally in some berries and fruits this, as a mentioned ingredient is clearly synthesised sorbitol. Sure, it's a better choice than artificial sweeteners like aspartame, but can cause problems for those with severe gut issues trying to follow the FODMAP protocols to deal this this.I'm just shocked that a respected herbal company has used this
