Slim Jim Turkey Snack-Sized Smoked Meat Stick, Habanero Flavor, 97 Oz.

I wanted to try a turkey stick, and I generally like spicy things. I wouldn't say I'm completely a immune to spicy foods, but I can generally handle spice fairly well, and enjoy different peppers, etc, and I must say this stick was honestly just a bit too spicy. I basically decided not to finish the first one I tried after getting almost halfway through. I often find that spicy snacks are barely even spicy, but that was definitely not the case here.That said, since I had several in the cabinet, I decided to give it another go later in the week, and did finish a couple through the week, especially when I had it with something else (like when I was munching on some carrots), that helped a bit. Still just a bit too spicy for me, so I'll try the not habaero version if I get these again.I also wasn't super wild about the flavor and texture at first. I totally get that it is turkey, but wished it wasn't so, I don't know, mushy maybe? The taste grew on me after eating several, honestly if it wasn't so spicy I think it would be fine. Once I got used to the softer stick I didn't really notice it, so that turned out to not be an issue, and I do prefer that to the jerky that is so tough it hurts your teeth.Its sort of my fault for getting a habanero stick, and finding it too spicy, so no real fault for that. Just be aware that it is legitimately spicy.

Weird artificial chemical taste, will not buy again.

On top of the deceiving description weight wise , i paid $4 for 1 Stick that is already expired in nov 2019, are kidding me Amazoid

This product was expired when I recived it. Please check the expiration dates.... the Turkey habanero slim jim is awesome but not when its expired had to throw both of mine away.
