Great antenna
This is a nicely made, quality antenna. It works as advertises and was a good price and this antenna is not cheap anywhere. Used for gmrs and repeaters also murs and other vhf frequencies.

Excellent dual bander with a HUGE effective range.
If you’re looking for a dual bander for your vehicle, this is probably the one you want.Performance is excellent with a low sub-2 SWR across the 2m and 70cm bands. As an added bonus, SWR is still acceptable in the business band and GMRS band, meaning this is truly a “one antenna to rule them all” situation. I own two of these and in fact use one as my base antenna; with a magmount on a chimney cap. I’m able to reach stations as far as 43 miles away with a 50 watt transceiver.Receive performance is very good as well. In my truck I use a Wouxon KG-980p which is capable of AM receive; and I’m actually able to reasonably effectively pick up CB radio from nearby traffic. Of course you wouldn’t want to transmit on the CB band with this antenna but it sure a versatile receive antenna on top of it all.

Not a bad antenna
Antenna came pre-assembled and pre-tuned. Receives very well. My intended use was MURS and GMRS. Great SWR on MURS (1.01:1). Somewhat worse but acceptable on GMRS (~1.7:1), but that was expected from the published specs. Note that your results may differ quite a bit depending on where and how you install it.

Check the Screw Connection.
My only problem with this unit is that it tends to loosen up from the mag mount base. I have to re-screw the two together about every other day.

Great wideband
Seems to have comparable reception to other mobile antennas I’ve used, but the wideband range is really what I got it for. Under 2:1 SWR in all ranges advertised PLUS the 220 band - wasn’t expecting that! I have yet to try it with the 220 band, but it registered less than 1.5:1 swr over the whole band on my antenna. GMRS repeater frequencies (467.xxx) are just above 2:1 swr, but it is not advertised to for transmitting in this range, so I can’t fault it for that.It seems plenty sturdy, but I’ll probably be adding the optional spring section to avoid bending it if I clip tree branches etc.I will add an update after I get more use with it.

Great antenna
I screwed it into the mount and ran it to my analyzer and immediately had an SWR of 1.3 right out of the box. I then dialed up a repeater that is 30 miles away and hit it just fine. I’m very pleased with this antenna.

Great Antenna for off-road
I kept breaking my antenna on limbs and due to vibration. This one has held up great. It also will do GMRS as well as ham bands. This make it a back up for the other system if needed.
