So my fiance used to have almost this exact same lamp but our cat broke the glass part of it, so as a surprise I got him this one when I happened to find it.One thing I will note, because I didn't see these instructions anywhere, I just happened to notice, but there are two metal prongs on the inside of the turtle that you can lift into the shell to hold it in place (these were also on the old turtle but my fiance didn't know and that's kind of why the first one broke) a couple of the pics have the prongs, they were a lil tricky to get in, but I promise it's worth it. It's cute and aesthetic and has nice, warm, light, but I have to say that his old one was better. The details on the turtle himself are a lot more realistic looking and the old one is definitely a good metal while the new one is some kind of plastic or ceramic (you can see in the last pic where I accidentally put my knuckle through where it was thin because of a bubble)So all of that being said, I'm just going to put the new glass on the old turtle because I don't know where I would find the same old turtle, also that being said, if you don't have a nicer one to compare it to, it's really great.

I liked it. Just the right amount of light for the spare bedroom. BUT .. I had to buy a light bulb for it. It should have come with one for the price.

We have used this for the grandkids night light for years, unfortunately our little turtle met with a sudden demise when accidentally kicked.We ordered a new one the next day, so happy the company was still making them

Neat looking lamp but not without issues. Like I have found in many products from China, the written specs/instructions a leave something to be desired. The spec calls for an E14 bulb. Guess what, the E14 bulbs were too big. Next I guessed an E11 and ordered that up. Guess what, to small. Turns out the bulb needed was an E12.I still have to remove some of the back of the turtles head since the shell doesn’t sit completely down on the frame.I’ll eventually get this right and it will work well for my need but it’s a real pain.Not saying don’t buy this thing but do be prepared.

This lamp is well made, solid and gives a lovely warm light. The turtle shape adds charm and it looks good turned on or off as it is classically made with nice detailing.

I wanted so much to give this lamp to my nephew. It took a while for the product to be delivered. Once the item was taken out of the box, I noticed immediately that it had a European plug... and I live in the US. I have to return it since I can’t use it.

Beautiful!! Its a great quality and price. You won’t regret this purchase.
