NRG GEN 2.0 SFI APPROVED QUICK RELEASE - BLACK

I think I have purchased somewhere between 6 to 7 nrg quick releases. They have worked out all the bugs from their first launch in the early 2000’s. These new nrg quick releases are completely flawless. I needed this one shipped to me asap as I had acquired a new project sitting on driveway at night. I have many features to slow down thieves on top of cameras but this quick release is another great feature to slow them down. They also offer additional locks with keys and “press to release” styles. I actually own both designs. I enjoy having the press the side button to release on some vehicles and on others I just like the simple / light weight pull and get out mechanism. To be honest Works Bell is the only way to go but with how expensive everything is, the nrg quick releases are a great option for longevity and fits any budget. Like I said I have purchased about 6 to 7 nrg quick releases in my lifetime at Retail price. I have a great contact at NRG but I like to support the brand because they have supported me with so many of my builds. Happy wrenching everyone.

If you're looking to make your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU aftermarket steering wheel detachable, this is the part for you. Not only is it sfi approved, but it doesn't move the steering wheel THAT much closer to you. I've had the doors off of my Jeep during the spring/summer months, and my main concern was someone being able to drive off with my investment. No longer is that the case. This feels very solid in the hand, is all aluminum in construction, and the finish (powdercoat, bronze ring) is of excellent quality. Instead of attaching your steering wheel to the hub, you would attach it to this piece and your steering wheel can be taken off at anytime. USPL is a great vendor, and my boxes arrived on time with no damages. Their customer service is phenomenal and they're extremely personable.

Works perfectly for my sim-racing needs! Came sealed from NRG with ZERO play. Like seriously rock solid!

Overall quality of the quick release seems decent and seems to be an authentic NRG part. HOWEVER there is now way of connecting the horn and maintaining the quick release function because it's missing the white piece that's supposed to go in the center of the part that connects to the hub. The picture clearly depicts this part having that. Looks like I'm not the only one other reviews mentioned the same issue

For all your off road, racer, fast and the furious, drift, rally, autocross, time attack needs and quick egress from the car in the event of an emergency. Goes in via the main bolt., and there Is NO horn device in the hub.. Race Car Only

It's a quick release that works like it supposed to. Not sure what else you say about it.

他の方のレビューにあるようにホーンの機能はついておりません。 公式HPにはちゃんとno horn functionと記載されておりますが こちらの商品ページには記載されておらず写真もホーン機能がついているためおそらく多くの人が犠牲になっております・・・ NRG製クイックリリースの中でデザイン的に一番好きだっ！！上記事項を承知の上よって方にはおすすめです。 日本の公道で使用するには某社の4極インシュレータx2個をうにょにょすればクイックリリースとしての機能を備えたままホーンが使えるようにはできます。 なおNRG公式曰くSFI認証は無効になるそうです。

ホーンの接点が着いてないです。 記載の写真には、接点着いておりますが1枚目2枚目等には、着いてないのが見て分かります。 表記もされていない時点でどうなのかなって思います。 街乗りされる方は、絶対に買わないでください。 レース専用だと思ってください笑

商品ページに掲載されている写真には映っていたホーンの接点(真ん中の白い部品)がありません。 なのでホーンの配線を繋ぐことはできないかと思います。 レースでの使用前提(?) 特有のレンチン音ですが、鳴る時と鳴らない時があります。 カチンとはまった後はガタなどはなく通常通り使えそうです。 少し値段が高い方の商品も出品されているようで そちらを買いなおそうか検討しています。

商品ページ参考画像と違う色のものが届きました。 また、ホーン用の配線や接地するためのプレートやリングが不足しておりこれではホーンがならないどころかホーンボタンが付けられません
