I don’t normally write reviews. But the quality and value for money of this jacket is outstanding, which prompted me to write. For over 40 years I have worn Barbour waxed jackets and loved them. But to replace my last one would have been over £300. So I decided to buy this jacket instead from Amazon, for a tenth of this price.I have to say that the quality and feel of the jacket is very similar, and it is well made and well lined. It is knee length to me and has ample pockets. I wore it today taking my Labrador over the South Downs in the gale force winds. I was delighted with it and would endorse the fact that the jacket is heavy duty. As described in other reviews it is on the larger side, but gives scope for plenty of extra layers, which I need at my age! I would highly recommend it.

I've worn this coat continually through the recent bad weather and have been warm and dry throughout.

Running a small farm I have worn Barbour wax jackets for 40 years. I bought this in order to avoid spending £250 on a new Barbour for it only to be torn on barbed wire. The coat is OK, waterproof and warm. It isn’t as good as a Barbour and doesn’t feel it will last as long but I could buy 6 of these for the price of a Barbour.

Followed the sizings in the fitting info fitted well - warm - seems well made for the price hope it lasts a long time
