Xtreme Soft 3 pack overgrip

very easy and grippy

I Love these Overgrips, because they are just so easy to apply! They are very soft and grippy for the price, but the stickiness can wear over time. These fit so well that they feel like they were part of my racket to begin with! Very impressed with the quality and functionality of this product.

I've been playing tennis in this painfully hot weather and was constantly wiping my hand on my top to get rid of sweat. The handle covering was PVC, fake leather or some other cheap rubbish and I realised I needed something. I put the overgrip directly on top and it's much improved. I can hold the racket without fear of hurling it at the opponents now. It feels slightly sticky and slightly padded even though straight out of the packet it feels really thin. I don't think it's noticeably increase the handle size. The only negative point was that the sticky tape was a bit short and narrow. It's not left the greatest of finishes but I can always replace it with something else if it comes off. (It hasn't come off yet after 3 sessions of play.) I understand these overgrips will wear out eventually and for the price and performance, I'm happy to buy more. Noob note: the strips come with a backing material which you peel off. I didn't realise this and failed to wrap it properly the first time as I'd left this backing strip on. *whistles innocently* Update 8 years later! I put the original overgrip that I bought in 2013 over some high quality white grip because when my hands started sweating, the high quality padded white grip was like trying to hold wet soap. One thing to note is that the overgrip that I bought in 2013 is worn out so it has gone from smooth to cloth-like and rough. It looks bad but it grips really, really well when my hand is wet.

Wrapped around easy enough but lost colour very quickly. Looks pretty bad but grip is ok.

This is a nice product, very good quality and easy to fit even if you have never done it before. The feel is lovely too. My only negative is that it doesn’t absorb sweat as much as my previous grip supplier did so there is a balance between a lovely dry comfort feel against slightly less performance at the sweaty end of the scale. Overall great value, great feel, easy to fit. Top marks Head.

Really delighted with the purchase. It went on easily enough (I had a stapler to attach to one end of the tennis racket) and then starting wrapping it around the handle. There are videos online which show you how to wrap it. It comes with a Head sticker to secure the other end and gives it a nice finish. For such a thin material, it feels comfortable in the hand once it's wrapped around the handle and I think that indicates the quality of these Head grips. I only bought White colour because it was the cheapest version.

Beim Tennis und Badminton kommt es auf den Grip an. Das HEAD XtremeSoft ist weich, absorbing und angenehm in der Hand. Absorbiert Schweiß zuverlässig und fühlt sich auch nach einer Stunde Spiel noch griffig an. Die Wicklung ist einfach und hält. Nach etlichen verschiedenen Griffbändern bin ich bei HEAD hängen geblieben. Preis-Leistung stimmt, Qualität auch.
