Stila Stay All Day 10 in 1 HD Beauty Balm, 1.5 Fl Oz

I tried this BB cream after a friend remarked how easy it made her makeup routine, and that it didn't irritate her skin like many liquid foundations. I have combination skin and sometimes get unsightly results from foundation so I decided to give this a try. I was previously using Covergirl liquid foundation which was significantly cheaper but much lower quality. I decided that since foundation is one of the most important components of a makeup routine, so I splurged a bit and bought this.And I'm so glad I did! It gave my skin a more dewy look than my previous foundations and was easy to apply without worrying about looking cakey. It seemed to absorb into my skin instead of just sitting on top of it. I apply it using a small makeup sponge that I buy in large quantities from the drug store. I then dabbed just a bit of concealer over a few spots, as this has a light coverage. The concealer applied well over it, as did my oil control powder. It was very easy to blend and gave me a more natural look.After trying a few more BB creams, this is still my go-to! I absolutely love the slightly dewy, natural look. I've been using it for about 6 months now, and my skin looks a lot healthier than when I was using liquid foundation. The confidence boost is definitely worth the extra money! One bottle lasts me about 3 months, so it actually doesn't end up being much more expensive than typical drug store foundation.Bottom line: Your skin will love it if your bank account can deal with it! :)

After reading an Allure magazine review of Stila BB cream, I thought I'd give it a try. Specifically, the article recommended this product if you were looking for very light coverage, which I wanted. I had tried the Garnier BB Cream ($13, also recommended in Allure to even out skin tones), but found that one too "cakey". I do not wear a lot of makeup and wanted something very natural.So I splurged for the Stila brand and am very happy with it. I'm not sure that it is working any miracles, but seems to be a great alternative to other products. I've tried it twice so far- once under tinted moisturizer and once by itself, and was happy with the results both times.It only comes in one color, so I worried that it might be too dark for my light skin (which is a little red and uneven from the sun). The color doesn't seem to be an issue, and others have commented that it works for their skin tones, too.So far, I am pleased with this product, and will update this review if I can add the fifth star after a few more wearings.

This product has a sweet scent and a smooth texture. I purchased it because I wanted to try beauty balm, and it was on sale on Amazon. I'm not a heavy makeup user so I wanted something easy to use that would make my relatively blemish free skin look smoother. When you first put this product on it feels a little thick and oily, but as it dries your face just feels normal. It has a somewhat shiny finish sometimes, but that is not too noticeable. I like how it makes my skin look- smoother, brighter, smaller pores, but I'm not sure it is lasting all day. When I put it on late in the day, you can see it on my makeup remover towlettes when I wash my face when I go to bed, but when I put it on before work, I don't notice any of the product come off at the end of the day. If you are planning on relying on this products coverage for a whole day, I suggest you reapply once, maybe even twice.

I love this beauty balm from stila. I turned 40 this year and was noticing that even after I applied makeup in the morning (without BB cream), my face would look blotchy and tired just a few hours later. After I started using this BB cream from still, I feel like I still look put together at the end of my day. My face looks fresher and younger than it has looked in several years. My one critique is that the cream has a fairly dark tint to it. My skin is fair, I just have to be extra careful to both apply it lightly and really blend it in. I get that it's not like a foundation and doesn't need to be matched to skin tone, but I think maybe having three tints (light, medium, dark) would be helpful.

I really love Stila because they do NOT test on animals and have very high quality products.Since my (old) favorite mattifying primer's company has returned to testing on animals, I am searching for a replacement product. I am 40-something and have oily skin with large pores. I found that using a demattifier primer really helps keep my face shine-free throughout the day without having to wear base/foundation or powders. It also helps minimize the look of pores.After reading other mature reviewers' comments, I thought this product would be my next fave thing, but it isn't. It does have coverage, like a base/foundation (which I don't use), but it does not keep my face shine free, nor does it really camouflage pores. Maybe it's just my particular skin type? It just doesn't work the way I need it too.

I have adult acne. I have used many OTC and prescription products to prevent the problem. In my professional life, I try very hard to keep up with my beauty routine to ensure I look fresh and well maintained; however, with adult acne, it looks like I have poor sanitary conditions and I am not very healthy. That said, I have used coverup quite a bit. With olive tone skin, coverup stands out. Stila Stay All Day allows me to totally blend to my skin with EXCELLENT coverage and no melting or dissipation in coverage throughout the day. It feels very light, like you aren't wearing anything. Sometimes I use it alone in spot locations and other times, I use it all over for a nice even, glowing complexion. I am seriously addicted to this stuff. I say if you are considering it, it is totally worth a try. If you don't like it, I apologize, but my experience has been AWESOME. And I hate wearing makeup! I would also mention that I have NOT tried it in a humid situation and when I sweat, it does dissipate more than otherwise. It also makes a great base layer for blush and powder also!

I love the Stila brand and was happy to finally find this Beauty Balm in the version without the SPF for everyday wear at this price. The tube is HUGE with what doesn't seem like a lot of product inside, so I'm quite skeptical as to how long I will get out of it.

Very disappointing, like the cheap makeup you find at market stalls and smells like musty store room

Arrived today, was excited to try it! However it was half empty! Shocking for the price i paid - dont waste your money

Stila is an excellent product that is everything it claims to be!! It's easy to apply and doesn't leave a residue on my face. It makes the application of other facial make up go on smoother and it does last all day!!
