Bought a 6-pack of the BR40 1400LM 2700K bulbs for our recessed living room fixtures in Nov, 2024. They are as bright as advertised, and the appropriate color range. Many times they're either dimmer or a colder color than stated. Not these. Just what we were looking for. After running them 12-14 hours/day for a little over a year (the wife likes lots of light), one bulb went dim. Not flickering at all (they work great on our dimmer) - just VERY dim. Looking directly at the bulb you could barely tell it was lit. They advertised a 5-year warranty, so I sent the seller a message via Amazon on a Sunday afternoon. Within a couple hours (maybe less?) I had a response. They apologized for the failure and are sending me a free replacement, plus an extra bulb for the inconvenience. No hassles, no questions, did not even have to return to bad bulb. Top notch customer service!! They responded to every message I sent them within a couple hours or less. Can hardly ask for better! Will definitely buy from them again.

A great replacement for dimmer, yellower, bulbs! I hadn't realized that I'd been cooking in a cave until I got these, high lumen (bright) bulbs for my kitchen ceiling. I use a very sharp Japanese knife to cut up vegetables and the cool white color (4,000K) helps me see what I'm doing so I keep all my fingers. FYI, for best visibility, the light's color is just as important as how bright it is, something I hadn't known. They're not cheap, but the low wattage of the LEDs make these bulbs a money-saver in the long run.

These 5K lumen bulbs are bright and very nice but bought the 6k as well and prefer the 6k because they are a brighter whiter light where the 5k has a warm yellowish tint to them almost like a 3k or 4k would have. Both are nice tho.

First off, I was looking for a BR40 Bulb that had more Lumens than my current LED lights which were in the Recessed Cans in the ceiling of my Kitchen. The house was built in 1989. I had recently purchased some BR40 GE bulbs which were rated at 2200 Lumens but to my surprise when I got home & attempted to install one, it wouldn't fit, the bulb being just slightly too large in diameter, so I thought let me look at my old bulb made by Sylvania which was much lower lumens & we were looking expressly for more light. Lo & behold, the Sylvania bulb was a BR40 & I had purchased them quite a long time ago. So, I start looking for conversions, a large can, etc., but in the process I came across these Sunco Bulbs at 1400 lumens, read the reviews, everyone stating the Warm White 3000K Bulb being just right, so I thought, let me just try these, they had a great gurantee that they could be returned for any reason, so what did I have to lose. I ordered them, communications was good, keeping posted about shipping, got them in quick, couldn't wait to try them. They were very light, much sleeker than my older bulbs, put it in with ease, turn on the first I I put in & WoW, Perfect, just what I was looking for. So, I installed the rest of the bulbs, turned them as low as they would go, which was actually better than my older bulbs on new. haha My wife arrived home from the grocery store, walked over to put some things up & I said do you need more light to put those up? She looked at me with that WHAT? look I turned the light slowly up, then all the way to high with 4 bulbs over our center island, & she said WOW, are you kidding? You cannot go wrong with these bulbs, they are PERFECT, thanks Sunco. ---Birmingham, AL---

Bulbs work well until they don't. Had several fail within warrantee time. Called and was told they would be replaced but never received the new ones.

I replaced 150w equivalent bulbs with these. These seem brighter, for my garage. Ideal for when I'm woodworking.

I needed a new bulb as one of four in our bathroom. The Sunco bulb was exactly as detailed in the specification and once installed and powered on is indistinguishable from the existing bulbs. Good work!

I don't normally write reviews, however I do for these lights. Using this in a carport. The extra length in the neck is perfect. Great light, bright white. I ordered more.

Order arrived on time, and all 18 bulbs worked when tested. These are the right size for 6" pots. Colour and brightness is as advertised. Hope they last. Perhaps I should have ordered less bright ones; more isn't always better. Update 2023-05-05: One of the 18 bulbs has failed in just under 3 years of occasional use. Much sooner than the 5 year warranty plus 2 years extended warranty. Sunco customer service responded to my phone call quickly and pleasantly. Unfortunately they will not ship replacements to Canada but will refund purchase price of the failed bulb. Dilemma: order another box from Sunco, or roll the dice with someone else???

Product arrived on time. The light bulb is of excellent quality. Installed in outside pot lights the bulbs are bright and cover a wide area. Highly Recommend.
