Excellent Fit, Very Well Made.
Yes, rare as they are from me, it's a full * * * * * review! And I can confidently award that because I ordered four brands of knee-length compression stockings from four different Sellers in the same order. These were not the least expensive or the most. But they were definitely the best when it came to expected fit, quality of finish, overall comfort and best effect. And at £9.99 for two pairs (inc. free shipping via Amazon), they also represent very good value. As a retired Charge Nurse, I recognise the importance of compression stockings fitting correctly. So I was a little hesitant in ordering online initially. People are usually measured and fitted for them by their GP's Practice Nurse. So I was extremely happy (and relieved) when these 'Calves Kelson' brand arrived from Amazon UK Seller 'PINSHUN'. I was additionally pleased that they arrived vacuum-sealed for hygiene reasons. I've machine-washed them since (on a 30 deg C normal wash with fabric conditioner), and they came out as good as new. It's so important to get the measurements right with compression stockings. Too loose and they provide no benefit at all. Too tight and you risk reducing blood circulation in your lower legs and feet. Thankfully, from a medical point of view, these socks from 'PINSHUN' fit exactly as described. The most important measurement by far for 99% of people with leg and foot circulation problems, is measuring the thickest part of your calf. Get that part right and you're sorted!A number of reviewers have stated that these socks fitted too tightly. Whilst I can appreciate they may think that I can almost guarantee that this is rarely if ever the case. Basically, if you DON'T have to struggle to get compression stockings on... they're simply too big! And trust me, I speak as a retired charge nurse in the NHS who was responsible for measuring and fitting patients for compression stockings on a daily basis! For an ideal fit, you really have to turn them almost inside-out, and just concentrate on getting the toes in to begin with. Then slowly try to roll them over the rest of the foot to the ankle. Then pull them tight again, and work the stocking up the leg, literally an inch at a time, straightening and pulling them tight as you do so. Compared with your normal pair of socks, they SHOULD feel extremely tight from top to bottom. Finally, if you've never worn compression stockings before, they WILL feel too tight once you stand up. But that's precisely how they're supposed to feel. Basically, their job is to literally compress, i.e. squeeze all your veins, arteries and muscles together, really tightly. They may feel odd for a day or two, but what you will also notice, is that any pain from your knees down, will begin to reduce immediately. Sometimes slightly and sometimes massively. I appreciate that this is only supposed to be a review of the product, but I feel sure the additional information will be helpful to some. Especially all those who are new to wearing compression stockings. Good health to you.

The best out there!
For context I’m 4’10 and a uk size 4/6. I brought the s/m and was a bit apprehensive at first thinking they wouldn’t be tight enough - but they are perfect. They’re long on me, but I really would say they’re a perfect length - half way between the top of my thigh and knee. They’re such high quality for the price, very soft to touch and are a great fit of tight without cutting off circulation and leaving sores as others (including ones from the hospital) do. The fact that they’re actual socks and are not straight up looking like medical wear, I would say they’re pretty sylish. I could throw on a skirt and my Mary Jane’s and no one could tell the difference between these and actual socks.I would definitely reccomend to anyone to use these other competitors.

Fit for purpose
I ordered these to replace my old travel socks which I lost. I read in the reviews that they were a snug fit which is what you want so ordered the small. I am a size 5 and they are quite easy to get on. Will try them out on my upcoming holiday but the compression element is not as tight as I had hoped. Will be good for cycling for sure. Quality and delivery time excellent. Why do they supply in packs of 2?

compression socks
After a short hospital admission I was advised to purchase some compression stocking to reduce the swelling on one leg due to varicose veins.I was dubious about buying any as I had heard so many negative comments about compression stockings.I choose these because they had good reviews. They are a little awkward to put on at first. Once you jiggle the sock past the heel your on a winning streak. Then its so easy to roll up. They fit nicely and snug just below the knee. After wearing them all day they never come down. What surprised me is they are so comfortable, they don't feel tight . they don't feel restrictive. Very comfy.I like this company as they had different colour plus they come in pairs. When I first wore them veins in one leg was bulging, leg swollen looked a mess. By the second day of wearing them the swelling had reduced and 90% of the bulging veins vanished .Still felt very comfortable to wear.By day three leg looked normal tiny bit of vein swelling nr the knee but its work in progress.Very pleased with these and really glad that I purchased them.I picked blue colour.. Also they can be machined washedv.Perfect.

Will they work?
I decided to order new flight socks to replace previous ones as I’m going away soon and pretty sure my calves have gotten bigger. These look a great quality and are nice and long on me-up to my knees. They are a nice snug fit and I put them on as advised by another purchaser. I hope they serve the purpose intended. I have stents in my left Iliac vein as a result of my foot blowing up , abroad, quite a few years ago. My foot/ankle still looks fatter than my right ankle and whenever I fly, it can feel tight and looks puffed up. I learnt more from reviewers (thank you) than from the instruction's. Manufacturers don’t tell/advise on at what point you should put them on before flying OR when to remove them. I like to be well informed and sellers never give full advice which could lead to errors being made by having to assume.Having been abroad I can say that these are quite difficult to put on but I followed another reviewers advice. Once they are in place they are very comfortable to wear. I put them on before my flight and took them off an hour after landing. Remained very comfortable through the 4hr flight. I did find them harder to put on on the return flight as it was coming back from Turkey and I was very warm. (Easier on outbound flight from UK-not so warm.)I would recommend. Just be patient, give yourself time to put them on properly and they are great. Gather them up and get them on your foot properly and then ease them up your leg a bit at a time.
