Update: I really don't know how it happened, but for some reason the keyboard can now connect. All I did was leave it in the box for a week because I wasn't interested in returning it just in case the problem was on my part due to recently updating to a different iOS version. I'd occasionally turn the keyboard pairing mode on just to see if leaving it alone for those few days would change anything--and it did!?? So I guess I'll be changing my review to 4 stars (I grew to really love the protective case). I hope the keyboard stays working!---Original Review:I like the design, the magnetic stand, and the honeycomb interior. What caught my eye was how thin the keyboard seemed to be compared to other cheap keyboard cases online. The case feels like it would protect my ipad from falls. The case is a good, tight fit, but also still easy to remove by gently pulling back the corners from the ipad.Not sure if it just doesn't work or if mine is defective, but the bluetooth function is not showing up on my ipad (It shows it pairing as stated in the instructions, but the name doesn't show up for me to connect to) despite all my attempts. So, basically, this case is useless to me except for the protection (but I have to detach the keyboard since the case is a bit bulky, making it less protective for the screen area than my other cases). I'm also a bit bothered that the pencil holder is on the left side instead of where the magnetic charger on the iPad is, but I knew before purchasing it that it would be that way so this is just me being picky. However, I was at least hoping it would at least allow me to keep my pencil silicon sleeve on while I place it in the pencil holder or while charging, but the case only allows for a naked pencil (I have a 0.35 thickness silicone sleeve and it's a bit too thick for the pencil holder and it doesn't allow for magnetic charging through the side of the case so I have to remove the sleeve in order to charge the pencil).

Good solid case. Very pretty not too heavy, a little thick but not bad, love the keyboard detachment feature

Does not fit device exactly. Cannot charge Apple Pencil.

I hate that the keyboard need to get charge and connected by Bluetooth. But it does seem to work fine for now let’s see long term. Also it seems to be a bit small/tight it’s a bit hard to put the iPad in the case
