Work great! Lock & Release function is great!
These have worked great! I love that they lock into place and they have an easy-release button.

Works as intended
New GPU has more DisplayPort connectors than HDMI so used this cable to hook up one of my extra monitors. Everything works great and getting rated specs. Cable quality is great with solid connections. DP side has a little press release on the cable so don’t forcibly disconnect without pushing it down.

Works fine for my requirements
Like many such clubs across the country, our local woodturner's club is doing hybrid meetings - live and on Zoom at the same time. Our video setup uses an assortment of monitors, all outputs from the PC (4) are Display Port. With HDMI available on a couple of the monitors, the DP to HDMI cable was what I needed. These were the right length to avoid too much excess cable clutter behind everything when set up (and to deal with when storing - we have to tear down after every meeting). They were also the right price - which was one of the bigger considerations when deciding what to purchase. These were Cablematters, which made my choice easy as I have had very good results with a variety of cables and adapters for various purposes and expected this experience to be no different.tl;dr - if you need DP to HDMI cables that are 6ft long you will not be disappointed with these.

Fairly Priced
I wish it was clear in the description that this is less than 2k resolution. I found out from the text on the box itself.Otherwise likely workable for most users. And Cable Matters is a good Co. for hookup cables

Cable end proves easy to damage.
UPDATE: My original review is below. I've increased my rating to 5-Stars because of the stellar customer service exhibited by Cable Matters. Although I did have an issue, as I said in my original review, I was unsure if the product itself was at fault. Cable Matters contacted me soon after my review offering to replace the product at no charge. When I accepted the offer, they shipped a new cable immediately. Since I had damaged the original cable, I did what I'd normally NOT do and attempted to damage the replacement cable in the same way as the original cable. I found the cable ends to be VERY solidly built and able to withstand substantial lateral pressure without the slightest movement within the housing. The cable has worked flawlessly for over a month since I received the replacement. This is the kind of service that gains my respect and loyalty in a product. ANY product can be damaged or defective. Having once been involved in quality control in an earlier profession, I can say that without reservation. It's how the company responds to the damage or defect that speaks to its integrity. I will be buying cables from Cable Matters in the future without the slightest concern about the quality of the product or the integrity of the company!- Paul~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I have little to say about this product. I plugged it into an HDMI port on the side of a TV Screen, then leaned around it to plug the DP end into a computer. When I moved back, the HDMI end was damaged beyond repair. It was obvious I somehow put pressure on the plug or cord causing the damage. For what it's worth, I didn't feel any pressure so I'm thinking it didn't take much to cause the damage.Note: Previous Cable Matters products have been of good quality and reliable.

works like a charm
I purchased this cable in order to watch content from my Lenovo T410 laptop on a HD TV. The laptop has a DisplayPort (DP++) output and the TV has HDMI input.Simply by connecting the ends of this cable to my laptop and TV, I had an 720p HD image of my laptop screen almost instantly. However, there was no audio. The lack of audio was *not* due to any flaw in the cable. In the process of troubleshooting, I saw several websites which simply blamed this sort of no-audio problem on a "cheap cable" -- but, while this cable is certainly inexpensive (which is one of the reasons I got it!), it has no trouble carrying audio (and very clear audio, at that).I eventually found a Lenovo forum which held the answer: "First go to your audio settings by going FN + F6, choose 'Audio Defaults + Settings'. Then choose your TV as the default audio."This did the trick for me -- I instantly had audio (both through the laptop speakers and the HD TV).The poster on the Lenovo forum also had this piece of advice (which I never followed, since the first step solved the problem for me): "Now the sneaky part. Push FN + F7 and choose 'Projector Only', then sound will come out of the TV. Took me forever to figure out." Again, I had no need to do this, but I'm re-posting it in case someone else does.In summary, after some fiddling with my cpu's settings, this cable delivered all that was promised: crystal clear audio and visual from my laptop to my HD TV. Note: I have only used the cable on a handful of occasions during the past few weeks, so I'm not in a good position to evaluate its durability. As a previous reviewer has mentioned, when the DisplayPort end connects to the computer, it "latches" into place, and a small panel must be pressed in order to release it -- this "release latch" doesn't feel like the most sturdy thing in the world, but it hasn't given my any problems so far, and handled gently, I would imagine that it will continue to function just fine.
