Time's up
I ordered this because my previous power cord got caught the mechanism of my recliner. The recliner won that contest but I patched the cord together and got it working. However, I decided I didn't trust it's safety and chose to order this one and keep the chopped and bandaged one as a backup. It was a good thing I did. October 30, just over 60 days after purchase, while visiting my parents, this new one quit charging my computer. At first, I thought something was wrong with my computer and took it to a shop. He used his own adapter and my computer started charging again so eventually (when I got back home) I went back to my old patched cord. Not sure what's next but I do not recommend this product.

Works just as good as the original. I needed one for home and work. My original plug actually falls out easier that this one. The entire design is bad but I prefer this cheaper plug than the more expensive one. Go figure.

Great replacement charger for HP laptops
I bought a used laptop from FB marketplace that didn’t come with a charger. After some quick research I settled on this unit. It was delivered quickly, fits nicely in my laptop bag and works great. Can’t beat the price either. 5 stars!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Do not waste your money on this... the power cord separated exposing wires after a few weeks. The computer stared freezing up. Ended up purchasing a new laptop. FYI Seller on Amazon power cord looks like the original one ... except the cord that plugs into the wall is a round cord (Section where it broke and separated) and the original is a flat cord. Original power cord after 5 years never separated in this section. A cheap peace of crap HP counterfeit is what there selling. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!...
