Women's Plus Size Luna Lace Cocktail Dress

This dress worked perfectly for a gala. When dressed up with accessories it became exactly what I needed. However it is versatile and can also be played down for more casual affairs. It is flattering for my figure and fit true to size. Definitely a great purchase!

Wow. Just got it today. LOVE this dress. Fit exactly like I expected too. Size chart is dead on! Looks great. Bought this for. Wedding I'm going to be in. Bride let us pick out dress we are to wear as long as it is Grey and looked ok with boots. This is a little more blue in it but not enough to be consider blue grey. Just a darker grey. Best part, this dress is comfy! Can't wait!

This is my first review on Amazon in years but my experience was so drastically different from the positive reviews I saw that I wanted to make sure future buyers had another opinion. I bought this dress to wear to a formal wedding and the only good things I can say are that it arrived quickly (which is just a credit to Amazon) and that the color of the lace was beautiful. But positives ended there. The material felt cheap, thin and static-y, the banded waist wasn't flattering and the tan lining at the chest area was horrible. I'm a very pale person so I'll admit that maybe it just wasn't flattering for me personally but it wasn't opaque enough to cover the bra straps of a skin-colored bra! It basically looked like a bad figure skating costume.For almost $130 for this dress, it felt like a fat joke. The quality was nowhere near deserving of that price point; it looked and felt cheap. Immediately after trying it on, I repackaged it to be sent back and now it's back to the drawing board to find something for the wedding.

This dress looked frumpy when I took it out of the package, but when I slipped it over my head and onto my body, it fit amazingly. I ordered a 2x and the dress was true to size. it covered up my problem areas (love handles and gut), with some extra ruffles, near the mid section area. You can also adjust those areas a little bit (and by adjusting I just mean you can move them around in that general area, not detach them). I'm 5'7" and the dress came down about 2 inches from my knees, the crazy about blue dress color is exactly how the color online looks, or a tiny bit darker, in certain light. It's a beautiful dress, its light and comfortable, and i'm excited to wear it for my wedding in 3 weeks.

I love this dress. It fit as I expected, it is super soft and comfortable, and the color is lovely. I will say that when I first opened the package, I initially thought that the lining around the top of the dress was not a good color, but once I put it on I completely changed my mind. The dress looks much better on and the color of the lining was fine. The sleeves fit wonderfully (and I do have much bigger upper arms than the model!). Overall, extremely pleased with this purchase and will definitely be buying more items from this brand in the future.

I am 5'4, 38D, 43/37/44 and purchased a 1X. The dress is true to size, so take measurements, do not guess. My concern was the lace sleeves being tight. The lace sleeves are 13 inches around and do have some stretch to them, if your upper arms are over 14 inches around the sleeves will be snug. With my height it falls just below the knee. I bought Twilight grey, and the color of the dress is a bit darker than the picture. I really like the ruched torso, it gives the illusion that my waist is smaller and chest is bigger. The dress is simple enough to wear out to dinner, yet elegant enough to wear to a wedding. I really love it and plan on wearing it at least a couple of times.

I went by previous reviews and determined this was exactly what I was looking for as a dress to wear to a wedding. The color was pretty and true to the photo. The fit for size was perfect and the length was good; however the middle portion around the waist actually accentuated rather than hid my belly and hit just above my behind in the back and further accentuated that. The length hung longer in the front without constant adjusting. While the lace is a beautiful pattern, it is not dress lace, but rather extremely soft and stretchy like lingerie lace. It felt more like a nightgown than a dress. I saw previous reviews about the sleeve length and they are correct. Should be 3/4 length, not hit right at the elbow, just an awkward place right at the bend. Although I am not "matronly", this dress is not for a woman over 40. It is a more youthful style and fit, also more flattering for a smaller or straight figure. It is not good for the larger sizes. The skin-colored lining inside the top lace does hide nude-colored bra straps very well so will work without a strapless bra. Unfortunately I have to return this.
