It is one of the better mini consoles! I've had hours of fun playing metal slug.

I'm a sucker for repackaged consoles and games in one, easy package. The Neo Geo Mini Console is a firm favourite, with a delightful form factor and a solid array of 40 games. The controls on the cabinet itself are responsive but their close quarters mean they are more fun for short blasts. Playing longer, you would probably want the controllers. There are two ports to attach controllers for two player games, and the cabinet can also be connected to a TV with an HDMI cable.One potential word of warning/delight - the default volume settings on the cabinet are LOUD!

The Neo Geo arcade games are what I grew up on when I was a child, going abroad as a youngster in the 90s, all you would see were Namco and SNK arcade games, King of Fighters and Metal Slug are the real highlights of this little consoles collection, the joystick while not micro switched feels of good quality and controls really nicely, the buttons are also responsive, the screen is nice and sharp and displays the games in their correct resolution, the bonus to top it all off is the Neo Geo startup theme, how wonderful it is to hear it, the only downside is the speakers, they get a little tinny at times, but all in all, SNK have done a nice little job of packing their games into a super cool little system.
