Ultimate Slanket - Cream Sleeved blanket with Sleeves

This blanket has a lot of fuzz on it. I did not realize it would get all over my clothing. Can't enjoy its warmth because of the shedding!

Absolutely loved it. Coming from the Windy City, it gets mighty cold during the winter months and I really appreciate having sleeves as I am a big time reader. Covering with a blanket only did part of the job, whenever I have to turn a page I hated having to pull my hand/arm out to do it. This cozy item took care of that problem. But like many others, wish it was made with a double loop tie wrap so when getting up to walk around you would be able to lift the extra length (this is nice and long to cover the tootsie's) over the belt so it can be worn as a open back robe yet never having to remove it. I walk around holding it up whenever possible, but there are those few times when you have no choice but to take it off and those are the times I dread.Never heard of a slanket until I read a great review from someone that purchased the Snuggie after using a slanket for 10 yrs. The comparison he made of course led to this purchase. Beige on one side, black on the other so reversible. Soft as a babies bottom. It was extra money well spent. No regrets and would highly recommend.

Nice blanket, but....all these listings that have these inflated prices lead one to believe they are a higher quality material. NOT! I have an “Ultimate Slanket” purchased for me for Christmas last year. While love it, I don’t love that even after a dozen washes, it sheds onto anything I am wearing. I wanted to purchase a couple as gifts, and thought perhaps the higher priced one was a better quality, since the descriptions were different, so I ordered two for $77 each. They are identical to the one I have! When I go back to my order on Amazon now, it even offers me the re-order price of $46. I was duped, but you don’t have to be! Don’t pay a higher price than $46!!!

This thing sheds so bad! I had to end up putting it in the closet. Very disappointed

it would be better if it was solid in the back and had some kind of fasteners in the frount

The description is very misleading. The quality of this blanket is poor at best. When it is laundered all it does is shed like a long haired cat or dog and continues to shed for numerous machine washes.. The slanket pills up horribly. I can't believe the manufacturer would make let alone sell such a terrible product.

Amazing! I have the cheap version of this that you can find at any store. The Ultimate Slanket is amazing! I a 5'11" male and this is perfect. My feet don't stick out of the bottom because it had a foot pocket. It is not thin like the cheap version that I had before. Very warm and comfortable! I received it much sooner than I expected. Shipping was very fast.

I had been searching for a Blanket for myself but then my priorities had to change as the weather got worse I knew someone who would be in more need of it. The hunt was on for a Chocolate Brown Slanket as a gift but as they are hard to come by I settled for the cream; neither the recipient or I were disappointed.Before purchasing the Slanket I read through the reviews and took note of the faults that could be found with this item. From my personal experience I could not find a fault with the one I received. Yes there is slight 'shedding' of the fluff when you first take the Slanket out of its packaging, however I did not find it overbearing; I just took it as the loose ends of production. I washed it straight after removing it on a low setting - if I remember correctly 20 - and a fast wash just to remove any other loose pieces and that seems to have done the trick as it has not happened again.It comes in a transparent plastic 'case'. The case is nothing spectacular, it's very basic but it does the job of getting it too you in good condition and making easy to store when summer comes.On first touch you can tell the quality of the Slanket. Its thick and keeps you VERY warm and is extremely soft to touch. The kind of softness that just makes you want to hibernate in it! The colour is a slightly yellowy cream, if that makes sense... it reminds me a bit of Cornish Ice-cream!The recipient is in their late 80's and suffers harshly from feeling the cold, so I needed something that would give them comfort, warmth and ease in movement. This Slanket is PERFECT. Its large enough that when on the sofa they can tuck it round themselves and still have space to move to the side, lean forward or lie back when the sofa reclines. It goes right up under their chin so their neck is kept warm. The sleeves are long and wide enough to cover up to their hands while reading a book without restriction, and when they fall asleep they can tuck opposite hands into the sleeves or just let them fall and they will be covered. The foot pocket is a nice addition as when feet are on a pouffe, ottoman or footstool it gives that added security that the Slanket will stay put!Overall to see the contentment of the recipient and the quality I think its worth the price and I'm eyeing up one for myself and as gifts for family and friends.

There are not enough words to describe how much I love this Slanket. Having previously owned the standard Slanket I was intrigued to see what differences there would be between that and the Ultimate Slanket. I was not disappointed. The Ultimate Slanket is the softest most comfortable thing I have ever owned. Ever. The foot pocket is amazing; it literally stops any cold air coming up underneath and creates the perfect cosy environment. I know this sounds extreme, it is only a blanket after all, but if like me you love curling up on the sofa on cold Winter nights with a cup of tea and the TV then this is the perfect accessory.I have been banging on to pretty much anyone I speak to (including Tesco cashiers, the cleaner at work, my gym instructor, you get the idea) about how amazing this is and everyone thinks I'm mental. "IT'S ONLY A BLANKET" is the most common response, however I make every visitor to my flat 'try it out' and their opinions are changed within seconds. My friends say I am an 80 year old trapped in a 28 year olds body, but I don't care. This is 100% worth paying for. (The colour is actually much lighter than the picture, more of an off-white / cream).Just buy it. You won't regret it.Buy it.

Bought as a Christmas present to my wife. Best thing I have bought her. She uses it all the time and loves it. When she is not using it I am using it. Had it now for a year and washed it maybe 3 or 4 times. Still very soft and warm. Would highly recommend it.

Purchased a few days ago, initially wondered if was worth the money however is probably the best quality blanket and sleeve combo I've come across. Very nice and warm, excellent body coverage (can fit two people if necessary...) and the foot pocket is a nice touch. Not really had any problem with shedding; have not attempted washing it yet so can't comment on that.Recommended, particularly for fuel budget conscious people as this really makes a difference.
