Disney Hannah Montana Mix Stick MP3 Player - Pink

Our daughter had purchased this for our granddaughter for Christmas. Knowing she would be receiving an mp3 player, my husband and I thought we would purchase an iPod Shuffle for her younger brother, so neither one would feel left out. Our granddaughter was so tickled to have her Hannah Montana Mix Stick at first, but 3 months down the road the happiness wore off. Instructions that came with this were so scanty also. We charged the player and by Christmas evening we were able to load music freely onto the unit. So far, so good...until trying turn on the player. It had such a long delay before it would play any music. When it did, the quality was mediocre, at best. She learned to overlook this detail, but within 3 weeks the player was locking up which required having to use the reset function. This kept occurring week after week up until 4 months after she received it, the player simply quit playing. Connecting the player to the computer to recharge was fruitless, since now the neither her computer nor our computer no longer acknowledged the connection. The LED light on unit showed no signs of life and now the player no longer functions. Checking the internet, I found other Hannah Montana players having the same problem. Needless to say, the iPod Shuffle is still fully functional and there are many regrets on my daughter's part for buying this Disney item. My granddaughter? She's NOT happy, but who can blame her. Such a shame.

I was so excited to buy this for my niece for her birthday. Unfortunately, it never took the charge and had to be returned. I'm looking for the review where someone wrote that they bought this for a Christmas gift and it didn't work. I should have heeded the advice......

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday which was may. By June it was lockig up and not turning on at all. I could drain it and recharge it, but then it locked up again and so on and so on. I have since trashed it and bought cd boombox and santa will be bringing her a ipod shuffle. thanks so much Disney for the crap you make.
