Love this brand
I use the plain white low sweat soap base and the plain clear soap base all the time. They are great. This one is a bit tricky because once melted and poured , the oatmeal tends to all gravitate to the bottom of the soap and does not stay suspended Also, it does not work well if you want to make swirls or other effects in your finished soap since the oatmeal particles grab on to the color and end up mixing your separate colors together. .I recommend melting it slowly in bursts in your microwave. Then add only one color to the soap and stir at least once after you pour it into your mold to redistribute the oatmeal.

I love the smell of this
Bought this to use with a honey soap base for my daughter's eczema. I love the smell of this, and my daughter says the honey and oatmeal combo helps with the itching. Only downside is oatmeal, from any brand, tends to sink to the bottom if the base gets poured when its to hot or isn't stirred enough. So when you use it just keep in mind, stir it until cooler (still experimenting to see what temperature works best)

I hope they sell it here soon as it seems like the only one they don't have
I've tried a lot of bases and nothing compares. They're all drying. I usually use the goats milk, but they didn't have it so I got this instead. It's decent, but if you have dry skin nothing beats the goats milk. I hope they sell it here soon as it seems like the only one they don't have.

Great Soap Base for Holiday Soap
I make soap around the holidays from soap base, so I was happy to come across this product. I kept a bar of my soap to test out, and I love it. Oatmeal soap is very gentle on the skin. If you're looking for a natural soap base, look no further. At $9.95 for a pound, it is pretty affordable too.

Great base / dries quickly
I was happy to find this soap base with less additives than others. It was also super easy to use. If you're planning on adding anything to the tops of the soaps, I would recommend doing so as you pour each individual soap (if you're using a mold), instead of pouring all your soaps at once and then topping, because the base starts to dry very quickly and then the toppings don't stick.

pleasing oatmeal melt and pour base
the melt and pour base that i love is the oatmeal , it mixes easy and i use a crockpotfor using this base, it distributes the oatmeal slowly through the mixture, i also add honey base for moisturizing and softening , thats what kind of base you will allways want to have for a good bar of soap!!!!!!!!!!!! i do use this base a lot and it smells soooo good, ive just made 125 bars for a wedding and have gotten sooo many complimentson the base ive used, its a wonderfull base for anyone who has dry skin.

it feels nice when you're using it
melts well. oily residue on the outside seems not to have come back after melting and molding. neutral, very faint smell. as a hand soap, it feels nice when you're using it, but it's pretty drying.
