Fantastic quality
Few things these days are still built this well. When shopping for a vice you can pay sub one hundred dollars for a disposable unit or two fifty and up for vices bearing the names of their once made in usa siblings. Unfortunately made in American almost doesn’t exist anymore especially when it comes to a vice. I’m not a fan of the idea of spending five hundred dollars on a vice that ten years ago was made in America and now is made in china with cheaper metal cheaper labor and lower quality and have not one of the dollars in manufacturing savings passed on to the customer instead you pay the same for a much much lower quality product. That leads me to this. As far as tools go made in Germany still exists. Yes at a premium but it’s actually a fair price. This vice is priced less and is far better quality than a ton of name brand made in china units. This vice has literally no play in it what so ever. It is an absolute precision tool. This is the festool of vices. The seller also packaged it extremely well. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

TOO expensive!
Unfortunatelly AMAZON is giving you a "DISCOUNT" of $100, but the regular sales price is exactly that!I feel betrayed because this price is actual offered in the manyfacturers accompaning flyer!VERY ANOYING!!!Product is okay - just over-priced!Good luck, Nick

Fantastic quality vise, if you can swing this much cash
I wanted to buy one vise that will last me the next 25 years, so I looked around and it seems these Hueur fuses are the top of the line (outside of a professional level shop). It’s veeery expensive for a small vise, but the quality is honestly fantastic. I spent weeks comparing and looking around to see what would best suit my needs, and this 120 will do 99% of anything I will ever want to do with a vise. Plus the accessories you can buy will make it even more versatile.

Quality
There are cheaper options, however if you looking for quality and a vise that will hold you work then this is the one. A++Should have bought the first time around and not waist my money on cheaper bises.

If you are looking at it you want it and it’s worth the premium
I think once upon a time a good made in American vice was a dime a dozen hell people would give them away just to move them. Now you can’t find big one under 250 without repairs at least for Wilton or the lIke and I’m in the rust belt, so these old vises are soon going to be a thing of the past and quite valuable as well as they’re made to a higher level of precision and durability, and from an era when tool makers were proud to put their name on their Tool now it’s a team of engineers who have emotional investments it’s just backwards …. But imo that doesn’t exist anymore in power tool’s and it is won’t ( & don’t say Dewalt.( ;{ ) but call it patriotic bias or nostalgia, but it only gets so far because I will say if I thought they were better but I do not do think Heur vises are a top-of-the-line choice and I have german heritage but I’m American and so is everyone I know so I’m prideful about domestic products because they’re fewer and fewer but as far as USA made products go there are many good ones but anything from entertainment to classic cars, tools all the way up to artisan glass but many of the steel manufacturers have closed and I damn sure don’t wanna cell phone made in the USA but rant over
