How do you store them in their dried form after opening the bag?

I have a food saver vacuum with a attachment for jars. I breakup the mushrooms into smaller pieces and put them into quart jars and vacuum seal them. You don't have to vacuum seal the jars as the mushrooms are really dry, I just like using the vacuum sealer. Or you can store them in one gallon freezer bags. It's up to you.

do you have to soak them and for how long?

If u want 2 reconstititute yes, and u should see it back 2 its original form when it's ready but I wouldn't soak any more than 1-2hours. U can just throw it in soup too as u make it, it will reconstitute in the water.

Are they sprayed with pesticides or herbicides? I don’t see the label for organic so is it certified organic? Thanks

I've never heard of Woodear mushrooms before. Do they taste anything like normal mushrooms?

Woodears are very mild flavored, with a chewy/rubbery texture. I don't think they taste like normal button mushrooms, but they are good. They are often used in recipes with other mushrooms, and are used for their texture.
