The product really is high quality, you can tell the father and son duo that builds these take a lot of pride in their work. The package comes complete with a list of best practices for making it last a long time. I did however have an issue with the lights about a year after the purchase, i'm not sure why but the lights started flickering. It was obviously not abuse so despite the warranty being expired i reached out to the manufacturer and they agreed to offer a substantial savings on a new one which i thought was more than fair. I have received the new one and it's working great. The manufacturers are super nice people and a pleasure to do business with. Would HIGHLY recommend this product as it is very high quality but what really impressed me was the high level of customer service which is very hard to find these days.

Lasted a little over a year. When it worked it was wonderful- I assume the outl-of-water electronics box failed, as previous barnacle scraping never bothered the light head- the light itself seems very robust. Final verdict- expensive for what it was.

I Bought Two (Green, Blue, or White) Blob Underwater 110 Volt Dock Fishing Light BLOB-15000, 15000 Lumen, LED Fish Finding System Light with 30ft Power Cord, old by: Green Blob Outdoors LLC for $219 each and put them in intercoastal salt water in late Apr. I set them fpr constant green "attract" mode. By late Sep one went dark and by late oct the other flashed con and off constantly in the various colors. I was initially satisfied with the product, I did expect brighter illumination, but the fact that I used them in saltwater could have been reasoning for the dullness. The key discouragement with the product was after daily successive use in salt water the unit eventually failed after a couple of months. Even when the units were periodically removed and cleaned the lamination went from clear to white tone. I actually purchase two units, I received the second unit two weeks after the first. Both unit failed after 2/3 months of aggressive use in salt water. If you are planning to use the unit on a periodic basis, like night fishing, they will last considerably longer. However if you are going to keep them in the salt water continuously the units will only last 2 months (even if you clean them periodically). So from a time use perspective, if you are going to keep the units in the water, get the higher end brass and glass products

After about 2 months, the light only went to blue - the remote control never worked. Then it changed colors and wouldn't change back and then it just pretty much stopped working altogether. Did not even last 10 months - total waste of money.
