Overall Great Value
I purchased this Macbook for DJ'ing after going through several different window's laptops. Overall, this Macbook has treated me well. It performs great, I love the 1TB of space I have, along with the 16GB of ram it comes with. It came as advertised; a little worn, but overall in surprisingly good condition.The only issue I had with it was the keyboard. As you know, this generation came with the butterfly keyboard. Some of the keys ended up lifting off and the keyboard didn't feel solid. I tried to get it replaced under Apple's recall they put out, but I was a year too late. I ended up buying an entire new top plate for this Macbook on Ebay and replacing it myself. After that, this Macbook became perfect.

Great customer service
The first one I received died (OS bootloop) hours after receiving it. But customer service was able to get the 1st one sent back and the new one to me in only a couple of days. That is the fastest turnaround of ANYTHING I’ve ever ordered and returned/exchanged. The only reason I’m giving it 4⭐️ instead of 5 is because the 1st one was defective.

Worth the money
I bought this moderate wear macbook from ReuseDeals; here my thoughts:- There are several scratches in the edges and back of the macbook; however in the top looks fine-The inside looks like just out of the box, in a pristine condition.-The screen is amazing; speakers, trackpad and keyboard work great-The macbook came with a new battery installed-Charger and Cable are generic but feels and works fine

First unit had a few issues, but seller replaced it
Updating from prior rating of 2 starts to 4 starts. I bought this for my daughter. So the first unit, the screen has these blue splotches and the keyboard was not smooth, some keys need to be hit hard to work. Within a short period the J key had stopped working. I started a return, the seller offered to replace the item and gave me a free shipping label. Got the replacement macbook yesterday. This one has a very small ding on the front corner, but otherwise seems to be working fine. Keyboard is much smoother and screen is good. Seller also gets kudos for turning this around relatively quickly.

This is a very much long overdue review...
I'm a photographer returning to work on a budget & was in great need of a new MacBook since my last one had a damaged screen.When I received this MacBook everything checked out okay. It came in great condition and operated fine. However, after a few days, it shut off on me without warning and kept giving me the signal of it needing to charge. I thought it was because the night before I accidentally left it on charge, which is something I try not to do.I tried two old charger cords that I had, as well as troubleshooting it as directed online, but it didn't work. When I contacted the seller they told me to try the same stuff that I saw online to troubleshoot. I also took it to a computer tech and he told me I would need a new MacBook. I tried again taking it to another computer tech and all it needed was a new charger cord and adapter. this cost me $130.Since then I've been having more issues with it.1. It has to be kept on charge to stay on.2. It sometimes shuts off on its own while on charge.3. The USB ports doesn't operate as it should. God forbids my laptop shuts off because the charger was accidentally disconnected or just shuts off on its own, I would have to keep trying the other ports for them to work or restart the computer and wait about 15 minutes for them to kick in.4. A few days ago, out of nowhere, the laptop or USB port had a glitch and completely formatted my SD Card with 2 recent photoshoots on it before I got the chance to transfer them over. Thank heavens I was able to get the photos back. I had to pay close to $90 to download a software that would allow me to access and restore the deleted photos.I did contact the seller during the refund period, however, I live in Turks & Caicos where anything we order would not be delivered to our doors. We would have to have it sent to a friend's address and have them bring it over whenever they can or have it sent to a company's US address and then pay additional duties and freight on the items. Returning items are not easy and can be very costly. So, to return this MacBook & get the refund, I would have to go through one of the shipping company's and pay to have it sent over & then order a new one which takes time away from me getting work done and more than likely turn away clients. The seller did ask how much it would cost to have it sent over, but after considering the time frame I may be without a laptop and getting work done, I just stuck it out and trying to get the most out of what I paid for.

Generally satisfied but….
Love this Apple MacBook even if it’s a refurbished, BUT TouchID don’t work at all. Impossible to configured it I tried à tous and Time even by calling at Apple. There was no note in the package saying it was broken. It was suppose to be tested etc… but I think they just put back to factory default. I have tried to contact AMAZON VERIFIED tech (Solo Tech Solutions) but from now now answer from them.

No esta mal peeero
La compu funciona bien a nivel de Software, pero estan sucias, pedi una primero que tuve que devolver porque varias teclas no funcionaban bien, se le quedaban pegadas las teclas, parece que el teclado estaba sucio, la devolvi y pedi otra. La segunda estaba mejor pero aun tenia 2 teclas con el mismo problema, compre aire comprimido para limpiarlas y esta mejor, aun asi creo que por el algo precio que cobran deberian limpiarlas bien. NO ESTAN LIMPIAS PROFESIONALMENTE

La verdad es que llego completa y funcional en todos los aspectos, tenia mis dudas pero igual Amazon te protege con su garantía de cosas restauradas ante cualquier problema, eso me tranquilizo, la cosa es que no se si no se especifica o yo no lo leí pero el teclado viene gringo, o sea en ingles jaj, si ese no es un problema para ti, no dudes en comprártela, para la Laptop que es, esta muy buena y aunque quieran sacar una cada año como si fuera iPhone, esta todavía te va a aguantar muchísimo y va a ser veloz por muchísimos años.Lo único malo que le pongo es que venia con manchas de pegamento o suciedad y se las quite con un borrador de goma.

Could have been cleaner however came with very little wear. Not in original packaging but packaged very securely. Was a little dirty but overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

New laptop,defective charger
I start with advantages1-shipping time was awesome just 2 days from setting order2-package was extremely protective3-the system looks like new one without any dent,scratches or cosmetics.4-battery is in 12 cycle5-the performance is reliableDisadvantages1-without original Apple package2-the most important issue which I faced was damaged charger- imagine that your laptop ran out of charge and you plugged it to wall charger and it was not charged what is your feeling? I tried all of ports but it was not charging so I send couple of messages to Gainsaver and Amazon simultaneously and after a while they emailed over the Amazon costumer service that mentioned first chech that which item has problem? So I asked my kind neighbor if he had a MacBook charger let me check my device. After that I identified the charger had problem and I tried told Gainsaver the issue. They expressed that you can refund whole system or just defective item. So I decided to replace charger and I informed them my decision and they accepted to refund just 50 CDN and I went to Bestbuy and bought a new 96w charger in 107 and the problem solved.After a while I received an email from Amazon about refunding that amount in my account and I didn’t check it yet.I am totally satisfied especially the laptop was really new but I think 50 CDN is a little bit unfair and the part that buyer must pay the return cost is worse.
