End the yearly skillet replacement - Iron will last forever!
Overall this pan is so durable and indestructible, you will literally pass it down to your future generations.......... it will never wear out. I did the seasoning routine 4 times and each time it became more like satin all over. My mom's cast irons were like that as far back as I remember. It's a 12" pan, and is heavy for me at 73 year old. It's like the 2 5 lb weights I lift at the gym. That was the ONLY reason I didn't give it all 5 stars. And finally, you will never get teflon or any other synthetic material from this pan as you cook. Just keep the temp near midrange as you gradually get a feel for it - AND turn off the burner before your food is all the way done - this pan holds the heat! Happy cooking!

Fantastic
Love, love, love this skillet! I know they say it is "pre-seasoned" but, I seasoned mine as stated in the directions. It took sometime and my house smelled for a few hours but it was worth it. So far this skillet has not let me down. My food comes out great and my family enjoys it. I am very protective over my kitchen and the things in it, so my family does not touch ANYTHING in it without asking first and this is no different. I love my skillet it has been excellent so far. I would highly recommend purchasing this if you enjoy cooking as much as I do.

Can’t recommend it enough!
I can’t rave enough about this pan! Why didn’t I get one sooner? Maybe because I was scared I couldn’t “season” it properly or take care of it correctly or scorch all my food if I cook incorrectly? But far from it! I read the directions diligently on how to season and clean. I let it heat up and then add the oil and then the onions (or what have you), so there won’t be any food stuck to the bottom. I absolutely love this and would recommend this to any cooks ready to dabble with the cast iron!

Good Product
We took a few days to additionally season skillet before using. Used the skillet to pan sear a steak and then placed the skillet and steak in finish baking in the oven. Meat was outstanding. Simple clean up.Looking forward to using this again soon.

Not a 12"
Only giving 3 stars because it's not a 12" pan, it has10" of cooking surface not 12". Besides that it's a great pan

Fantastic cast iron!
This pan is great, high quality, perfect size, and the silicone handle is a great touch. For all the people complaining about having to season the pan per directions... welcome to owning a cast iron skillet, you have to season it. Deal with it and quit giving this great skillet bad reviews because you're too lazy to season a pan.

Great quality
I purchased this as a gift for my fiance, and he loves it! It's held up really well, and is durable, easy to clean, and the perfect size. I would definitely say this is a great value for the cost and will recommend this to my friends and family!

My most used kitchen item
I use this skillet for just about every meal I cook on the stove top and could not be more satisfied with it. It very heavy, which is too be expected, and the rubber handle fits it a bit loosely but this was still a great purchase.
