Well, I've applied two of these so far to a relatively new desk with nice smooth glossy laminated surfaces.One has stuck, one has not. 50% stick rate not impressive. The glue actually failed on the side of the clip, rather than the surface it was attached to. This suggests a manufacturing shortfall.The glue type is not alike that you'd get on the back of a new bank card to stick it to the paper. Great for not leaving a residue or ripping off surface covering, but I do fear it's not strong enough. I would avoid buying again.Edit. The other sticker has now failed. So 0 for 2 in ability to stick. Effectively not suitable for the purpose it purports to be for.
