Hmmm.. made the chocolate pecan pie bars on p173. I believe there’s an error in the method because the chocolate pastry base needs blind baking for sure first. I didn’t and the result was shocking and I’ve thrown away the whole batch - what a waste.

Another gorgeous Donna Hay collection of recipes. So many beautiful sounding options for Christmas, I am having trouble narrowing them down into a menu plan!

Nice publication but I found the whole book not very exciting or different from other Christmas cookbooks.

I love Donna Hay books and this one is really great for Christmas... it has so many receipes. Really great book.

The pictures in this book are lovely and there are lots of interesting ideas, however, I tried 2 recipes and neither worked. I'm afraid for me now this book is something to look at for inspirations but the recipes will have to come from elsewhere...
