Just what I needed!
I did a road trip in Croatia for two weeks and this book was the perfect companion. A lot of the information can be found online but can be hard to find exactly what you’re looking for. This book makes it easy. Everything I need in my hand

My husband and I buy these books for every place we go. We always enjoy and appreciate the local and off the beaten path tips. We used the one we bought for Iceland to death and plan on using this one in two weeks when we're in Croatia!

Don’t leave home without it!
I travel abroad often and never leave without my Lonely Planet. I buy and read other travel books but I TAKE the LP book with me.

Lonely Planet guidebooks always do it right
Well-organized, had lots of history and art information that meant we could skip joining a tour and just walk around ourselves.

Kindle version just OK
Headed off to Croatia on the day this 2019 version was published. So, I downloaded the electronic kindle version which is somewhat helpful to use off-line while traveling in Croatia. But I found the info to be very limited. Maybe the actual hard copy book is more comprehensive? Lots of cities covered but the amount of info on each isn’t very extensive. In fact, it’s light..... No useable city maps included in the download. Very little background info on the cities. Somehow it just seems way too basic for what I expected. ...so I’m not really impressed.
