45mm Concrete Hole Saw Wall + 200mm Connecting Rod + Drill Bit+Positioning Screw,for Brick Concrete Walls Air Conditioning Openings

I used this 45mm cutter to drill a hole for passing a 40mm waste pipe through a cavity brick wall. I used a heavy SDS drill but without the hammer.The cutter was quick through the brickwork, but you have to keep withdrawing it to remove the debris from inside the cutter. If you let this fill, it’ll stop cutting.The cutter wouldn’t quite reach to break through to the outside before the drill chuck hit the wall, so I had to reattach the drill bit to show the centre, and then used a small long masonry bit to drill right through. I then went outside and drilled through with the 45mm cutter to join up.Low cost, and perfectly adequate for the odd hole that’s required.

I used it for drilling a brick wall in my store. It does the job OK but I would add two comments. 1. The Drill bit would be better if it was a bit longer as the existing one is only a few millimetres ahead of the main core drill and the whole drill tends to wander off course if you are not very careful. 2. The seller should add a note to their information to advise clearing the core after every 25mm or so of depth drilled, otherwise it just wont go any deeper.

Have used to drill through brick and block work to allow install of POE connectors have found so easy to use and very clean holes. Found drilling up on tall ladder with this drill bit an absolute breeze.Would recommend.
