These are a MUST at our house. My son has Type 1 Diabetes and we use insulin vials to refill his insulin pump. We had a nurse tell us a story of a family that took a trip abroad and accidentally dropped and smashed their insulin vial. I ordered these the next day! This is my second time ordering them. I think we accidentally threw one away, because they don't wear out or tear or anything. They keep the bottle well-protected. I even dropped a vial on our wood floor from about 4 feet up and no problem.

This is perfect! I once had an entire vial of insulin fly right out of my hand while shaking it up & it smashed everywhere. When I saw this while looking for a medication thermometer, I snapped it right up. It has since saved me from another vial breaking when I opened a mini fridge and it came tumbling out. It doesn’t get in the way of inserting the needle and it doesn’t completely cover the bottle so it stays cold in the fridge & it comes on & off easily. Why wouldn’t you get it to be on the safe side? Insulin is expensive & what if the time I broke the bottle it had been my last vial? I would have been racing around at night trying to get another with the clock ticking because it has to be taken at a certain time.

With the increased prices of Vetsulin, it keeps my senior diabetic dogs’ insulin safe. I also like the material it’s made of because when I shake the vial to mix the medicine, it doesn’t feel slippery. Easy to remove to place on another vial. I was very excited to receive these protective cases to use on my daughter's insulin bottles. I like that they are light weight and clear so I can see how much insulin is remaining. I was very disappointed when I realized her Medtronic reservoir won't fit over the bottle with the protective case on it. She has to remove the case before attaching the reservoir. This it the ONLY reason it didn't get 5 stars. Keep this in mind when purchasing because I didn't think about it once even though we've been filling our reservoirs like that for 10 years. This is a great product but not functional for pump users.

These insulin vial protectors are perfect. They fit my insulin vial just right and give me the confidence I need to be sure that my precious vials of insulin won't break.

Luckily I've only had one broken vial of insulin in 6 years and it is sad!!!! Insulin is expensive and getting the vet to authorize purchasing more before it's time because a vial broke is so frustrating!! My little rescue has diabetes and uses insulin (Vetsulin) daily. The little bottles can be slippery and roll off of the counter breaking instantly. These protective sleeves are the answer. I'm so grateful I found them. Great product.

These are great!! I broke my dog’s brand new Novolin vial that only had one dose taken out of it.. FRUSTRATING! So, I bought these (because I’m clumsy and can’t afford to keep breaking full insulin vials). They fit the vial perfectly. I’m not gutsy enough to drop it from a high distance, but I dropped it from about 2 feet onto my countertops and the vial bounced. These are great and everyone should have them if you’re handling these tiny little vials!

I broke my furbaby's insulin and I was so stressed out by it! When a member recommended this product in a fb group. I really have to try it out. Looks decent, fit snuggly around the bottle. Although it is not foolproof, it is definitely better than no protection at all.

Great price to keep your medicine safe while you're on the go. I went with the clear option so I can see the bottle of insulin easily underneath but there are other funky colour options.
