nuLOOM Rikki Coastal Braided Jute Area Rug, 6x9, Off-white

I was looking for a light beige jute rug. When it came it was a very deep orange ratan color. The pictures in the add are false.

I love this rugs. I didn't expect it to be soft as it is. I see one imperfection on one side of the rug. It looks like dirt on it. I'm going to weep it and see what happens but other than that. I'm very pleased. It looks like the picture. It truly goes with my farmhouse decor.

The first time I purchased this rug it came and when I unwrapped it the only thing I noticed was a slight grassy scent similar to dried hay. I put it on top of a rug pad and was very happy. The dogs loved it, I got lots of compliments on it, and it worked for its purpose as an indoor entry rug.When it was starting to look a little worn I decided to reorder it, because I was so happy with the first one.The second one arrived and had dirt literally falling off of it. Had to vacuum it for about 20 minutes and sand/dirt continued to fall out of it for days. It had a very strong odor, and was damp, I suspect it was moldy.I'm so disappointed in the lack of quality control. Because I use it as an entry rug I anticipated having to replace it as it wore out, but the second one wore out much faster and was coming apart at the seams.After reading reviews it seems like this is a common occurrence for the manufacturer - That there's a lack of quality control and their rugs often arrive smelling mildewy/moldy and with dirt chunks.I'm overdue to replace this rug, and have not decided what I'm going to do. I don't like the idea of gambling whether or not I will get a good rug this time or another one of the poor quality ones.

I really love this and its fantastic in my hallways. I don't really consider these farmhouse looking. There's many decor styles these work with and the stripes give it a nice modern feel. Very pleased with the purchase. I also encourage the rug grippers that stick to the bottom runners, mats and other smaller sizes that won't stay put unless they have furniture on them. I expected color variation in the rug cause it's jute, but it had black spots as well. Minor shedding.

I purchased this rug for the front door entry. It's holding up nicely. I noticed others saying it's hard to vacuum. If you use the attachment with the brush, it works just fine! Not sure it was the best for me to put this rug at the front door, because of its cost and, everyone wiping their feet on it, LOL! I do love the look! I am seriously thinking about purchasing the 6X8 (?) rug for my living room!

Thinner than I expected. Came folded in a tight bundle about half the size of a sleeping bag.
