We’ve been using Metacam for a few years now for our 16 1/2 year old cat as prescribed by the vet. It’s for his arthritis in his legs and for his teeth which aren’t so good these days. The Metacam works but it has side effects on our cat, causing him to vomit regularly and sometimes have blood in his stools. Since deciding to try an alternative and finding this Pet Wellbeing Comfort Gold herbal alternative we are so pleased to see our beloved old cat is doing very well on it, better in fact than Metacam as the vomiting has stopped and no more internal bleeding. He’s happier too and eating well. I was concerned he might not eat it in his food, but I put it on the bottom of a clean plate then put his wet food on top (he eats Sheba) and he gobbles it up without an issue. I did initially put it on top of his food but he could smell it so didn’t eat it. I recommend trying it under the food. We also give the drops just once a day which he seems fine on. Honestly I am so pleased to found this alternative, it’s not cheap, but it works out cheaper than Metacam prescribed by the vet that all adds up with the vet visits too. Our cat sleeps well and seems happy when awake, he loves a cuddle and seems better than before we started him on this Comfort Gold. I’m genuinely happy to recommend it if you have a cat in daily pain from arthritis or other pain, it really does seem to work, try it under the food rather than on top.

For our old ginger friend named Bob who found us 6 years ago, not exactly sure of his age but we believe he must be 15+. This summer he wasn’t a well cat, losing weight and wobbly on his legs, decreased appetite. Tried Metacam without any improvement, it was difficult to administer also.Comfort Gold came to the rescue. Can’t believe the difference, he moves better and eats for Britain! Anyone who is a bit sceptical, don’t be, give it a try. Yes it is a bit pricey but we think it’s worth every penny.

I'm pretty sure my 20 year old is more active than she was before I started her on these drops. Absolutely no issue with her eating them.

Cats can tell if it’s in the food and then wont eat. I I’m guessing taste isn’t to there liking!Using the plunger straight into side of mouth, followed by a treat has been the easiest way by far

I've given 2 stars although at this point I don't actually know how well the medicine will perform. The principal problem, as other reviewers have said, is that some cats will hate the taste of this and getting so much as a single drop into them will be virtually impossible. So far our biggest succcess came via a tablespoon of freshly cooked mince with approx 2 drops of medicine in it, repeated. Every other attempt to disguise the taste was at best partially successful (strong red leicester cheese, 1 drop, a 'sandwich' of thinly sliced turkey breast pieces, 1 drop). £41 is a lot of cash to drop on medicine which the animal being treated may well completely refuse to take

I use this with my pets. They eat it fine with food. It seems to really help them.

Very easy to dispense. My cat hurt his paw, this helped him within 3 days and he was feeling back to himself. Thank-you.

The product may be helping my senior cat with muscle pain-he has had no adverse affect, and the flavour is agreeable.

My 14 year cat hurt his front leg playing with his sister. He was limping so bad. I was so worried bc an x-ray and visit to vet would be costly. So I ordered this product, it took 1 week and half to completely stop limping ❤️❤️❤️ I'm so relieved knowing my kitty 🐈 feels better and up to more playtime. Highly recommended
