Loving this cooler
So far we love this cooler. Took on a trip out west and it kept our food cold and the ice replenishment needed was no where near our old cooler. This was a great investment.

Perfect roto-molded cooler!
This cooler is perfect for our needs, and if you've never used a roto-molded cooler before, you need to try one! They hold ice for FAR longer than any normal cooler, and keep your food colder MUCH longer. We use it in our RV, and only need to add ice every 2-3 days, and even then there's usually left-over ice, depending on how many times we open and close the cooler. I really like the boxy design - very utilitarian, but just what you need for a cooler. We have another brand, and the extra molded handles are nice, but take up a LOT of room that is wasted around the cooler. This Canyon Coolers model doesn't have that problem as everything is well planned. Great size, no lost real estate around the sides, built-in lock hole if you need to padlock it, built-in strap attachment section, great drain port, etc. It's very well thought out! The only complaint I could come up with is that the lid doesn't open more than about 85-90 degrees, and barely holds itself open. Really not much of a complaint, since it does what it needs to, and you could consider this a "feature" to keep us from forgetting to close the lid. ha!Overall, we're VERY pleased with the cooler. Pre-cool the cooler with a bag of ice, and it'll keep all your food nice and chilled!

A little over priced
We have used a few times sense we purchased it and it defiantly keeps the food cold.it is heavy though.

Best Cooler I've Ever Used
This cooler is amazing. While it's not hard to be the best cooler I've ever used because I've never used another expensive cooler, I was pleasantly surprised when I used this cooler.I put 1 ten pound bag of ice in the day before I went camping because the instructions that came with it said to cool it down before you use it for best results, and then the next day, I put 4 gel ice packs from the freezer in and 2.5 pounds of dry ice in the basket. I loaded it with food and drove 6 hours to the campsite. I opened up the cooler to maker dinner when I was there and the small amount of ice that had melted from the 10 pound bag completely refroze in the cooler.I went camping for 2 nights / 3 days and the cooler was extremely cold the entire time. I had approximately 6-7 pounds of ice from the original 10 pounds when I got back home at the end of my trip. I was amazed. This cooler is excellent.

Great cooler, big and heavy but good ice retention
This review is for the 75 quart model. I got this cooler just before I went on a 4-day trip in really warm weather. The cooler rode uncovered in the back of my truck, and daytime temperatures were between 85-95 degrees. I put in about 30 pounds of ice (which did not completely fill the cooler) before I left along with my pre-chilled food and drinks. I left on Tuesday morning, and got back Friday afternoon. There was still a pretty good amount of ice and everything was quite cold. I left the cooler alone a couple more days to see how long the ice would last. By Sunday afternoon the last of the ice was gone. So 5+ days of ice retention which is pretty good I think. A bit large and heavy, I should probably have bought the 55 quart, but ice retention on a smaller cooler will always be less, everything else being equal.

Keep ice longer than any cooler on the market.
I bought this one for my son, I’ve had mine for 2 years, and wouldn’t have any other cooler. The lifetime warranty and customer service can’t be beat. They keep ice longer than any of the competitors, if you don’t have a Canyon, you don’t have a cooler!!

Great Cooler, perfect latches
Cooler holds ice for days and the latches are very easy to operate. The small cooler that came inside the 75qt was a surprise and works just as well.😁

Low product quality....poor customer service
I really wanted to own a Canyon Cooler. I ordered one and shipping was prompt. When I opened up the package something didn't look right. The lid appeared to be warped, the front lip was not straight (making a good seal difficult), and the lid was off center about a 1/4". Needless to say, I'm not impressed with the quality of the cooler that has a $350 price tag.Following the instructions on the manual, I contact Canyon on Friday 12/1. Their warranty department asks me to email pictures, which I do within 20 minutes of speaking on the phone. I never get any reply; nothing. I'm getting a little nervous that I'm going to be stuck with a sub-par product. So, on Sunday, 12/3, I initiate a return through Amazon for no other reason that to see how much shipping I was going to have to pay to return the cooler. After, failing to get any information, I cancel the return (or so I thought and I have the messages with amazon).Monday, 12/3, I email Canyon again and get a prompt response. This is the response I got:"It is not the normal fit or finish of our product but once the return is requested, your intentions are in black and white. We didn’t get a chance to help before the return was requested. Our products have a high level of fit and finish equal to or better than our competitors and our warranty is better than anyone in the business. We never got a chance to make it right with you before you requested the return. Please follow amazons rules and communicate with us through the amazon marketplace."I emailed them pictures directly within 20 minutes of talking to them on the phone and got nothing but crickets until I emailed them three days later. My intentions are black and white?! Yes, I want a good cooler. I did communicate through Amazon in that I wanted to cancel the return and deal with this as a warranty issue (per Canyon's manual). What else did they want me to do? I didn't see in there manual that said the warranty is void if you initiate and then cancel a return. I tried to explain that I tried to cancel the return. I even went further with Amazon to cancel the return and Amazon contacted Canyon to try to cancel the return. Canyon had the choice to simply cancel the return authorization on their end and deal with my cooler as a warranty issue (as outlined in the manual). Finally, Canyon wouldn't respond further and returned the cooler. In summary, my experience with Canyon Coolers is a poor product supported by even more poor customer service.
