Needs to be broken in.
This strap is really nice. Bought it for my “Orient Commuter” watch. The leather no completely smooth...it’ almost a suede-like, which I like. The strap is on the thicker side so if you’re looking for a thin strap, this is not it. The thickness does make the strap very stiff but hoping that it will break-in as I wear like most leather products do. I also expect it to darken over time. Because of the type of leather...you can expect it to get scratches easily. As soon I used the buckle scratches appeared. It comes with extras pins which is nice and a pin tool which is NOT nice. I wouldn’t recommended using this tool if you can avoid it. It has a plastic handle which slides on the tool shaft so if you’re not careful, you can easily stab yourself if push too hard. Overall, really like the look of the strap. Material is nice and price is good.

Not quite original but for the money? Wow!
So I'll say that for the price, I wasn't expecting much, but due to the good reviews I figured, "why not?" The great reviews are well deserved. The quality of leather is very good, stitching straight, without loose ends, and showing good contrast. The center of the strap has medium padding for visual heft. Lug ends have what appear to be sewn in tubes like higher end Panerai straps, making pin insertion easy. Fit between lugs is dead-on, without extra or any pin visible. Pin buckle is mediocre, but functional and without flaws. It just doesn't have the thickness and finish of the OEM Panerai buckle. Strap holes are oblong in shape, cut well, and in line. Compared to OP's straps at over $200, a no-brainer. All in all, a whole lot of strap for the money and, a strap that doesn't shame an expensive Swiss timepiece. Well done!

too small
Writing this review after 10 days of use working over nights in adult care on 10 hour shift, just to give you an idea of how much use the strap has been. The good: I love the way it looks weather after a few days of use. The strap is thick and comfortable. The bad: first the bottom band is stated as 12.5 cm and that is false I have mine at 4 ½ inches which is about 11.5 cm, this cause me to use the second to last hole (I do have a big wrist). Second the screw on the buckle keeps loosing after a few days. And last is due to the way the buckle is shape it is very difficult to take off. I wanted to like this strap but I cannot recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this strap.
I bought this strap for a Seiko dive watch, and I have to admit, I had very low expectations given its low price compared to other aftermarket straps. I have several expensive aftermarket straps from Hirsch, Colareb, etc., and OEM straps for Omega, IWC, etc., but none of them offered the "Panerai-style" Assolutamente leather look that this one had, so I took the chance. And I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is quite good; the leather is thick but soft and pliable, and the buckle has a very sttractive "pre-V" style, consistent with Panerai-style straps. It overall has a very masculine and rugged look to it. The stitching is good also. I will probably buy more from this brand; I currently have it on an affordable Seiko automatic, but I would not hesitate to use it on more expensive pieces.

Great color, Great material, great quality. Just can't remove it once it's on.
This watch strap works very well for the price. I almost gave this 3 stars because of a few annoying things (explained below), but the overall value / look / feel of the watch is 4 stars. The "calf skin" leather is a very nice color / texture. It has a softness to it - not quite suede, but not smooth tanned leather either. The color is a perfect tan light brown. Looks like natural leather color. It's on the lighter side and goes well with greens. The leather is fairly thick and was VERY stiff when I took it out of the box. So stiff that I couldn't bend it around my wrist without it hurting. I tried to bend it by hand for a while, and eventually had to resort to wearing it uncomfortably for a few weeks to break it in. It's still not as supple as my other leather watch bands, but has softened enough to be comfortable now.At the end of the strap (where you put the spring bars), there are little metal cuffs that protect the leather from ripping while using spring bars. This is a nice feature, but the metal bars are almost exactly 24mm which means that when you install the strap into a watch it's possible that the metal cuffs are almost EXACTLY the same width as your watch, and therefore very difficult to remove with any tools. As of right now, I don't have tools small enough to get between the metal cuffs and the watch to be able to remove the spring bars and remove the strap. I'm probably going to have to take it in to a watch smith or try to cut it off myself. Frustrating if you want to swap out watch bands ever.Overall I really like it, and haven't really needed to switch out the band, so I'm living with this one permanently for now. A good deal for what it is, just be warned that once installed, you might not be able to remove it.

Enthusiastic 5 Stars
I wish I could give this strap 6 stars. I am genuinely impressed. This strap is comparable to the Panerai OEM Assolutamente straps. Ok, the quality of the leather is probably not the same, and it was made in China vs Austria, but as a lay person I cannot tell the difference. The look, feel, fit, thickness, and center padding are the same. It even comes with screw tubes. The color is a very light beige - a color that you can no longer get from Panerai, OEM Asso straps are dark brown and black.

For $35 this strap is awesome! I rubbed the leather with my hands to give it more of a worn in look and it looks amazing on my Panerai! The leather was a bit stiff but after bending the strap back forth for 10 min and wearing it for a week it broke in. The strap features a metal tube so the pins can rotate freely, as well as to provide some extra reinforcement. Best bang for buck!UPDATEKnocking down to 3 stars. Whatever dye they used to color the leather is rubbing off on all my shirt sleeves. Not sure how to get around this problem outside of rolling up my sleeves. Otherwise the inside of your sleeves will look like baby poop stains.

Real value for money.
Gave it five stars for the money. Really nice leather strap and is actually softer out of the box than I imagined it would be. My Pam 111 tang buckle fitted it perfectly and I have no complaints. Feels comfortable and like a much more expensive strap than it is. In fact, whenever somebody asks to handle/have a look at my Panerai the first thing they mention is how nice the leather strap is.

As good as a Panerai original..
I wasn't too keen on the strap that came with my Panerai. After spending a fortune on my watch I was irritated that the strap wasn't better so I ordered this one basically because I liked the look of it. It's a really, really nice strap. It's as good as the Panerai and it costs nothing compared to the original one. I still have it on the watch and it's great!

Having always bought original Panerai straps until now, I was surprised by the great quality of this strap for a fraction of the price. On average I find that the Panerai originals last about two years before something either frays or breaks in everyday use. These straps look and feel great and if needs be I could change every six months and still save a fortune compared to the Panerai price.I hope Panerai will get the message and stop charging extortionate prices for their straps. If not, then these straps will do just fine. They really are very good.

Not a patch on the real thing but very good for the money.
Not a bad copy of the Panerai Assolutamente strap for the money. This strap is thinner than the real thing, the stitching is looser and the keepers are not as good. It is also not quite the right colour although that could be fixed with a bit of shoe polish. Still it's a nice strap for not very much.

Excellent strap for Panerai
Excellent strap. Good quality leather with a nice textured surface. Looks more expensive than its price. Gets a lot of admiring comments and adds new character to my PAM 0090. I used to get hand made leather straps priced around £100. Thought I would get this as a less expensive option and was impressed by the quality - comes very close to my other exclusive straps. Do not know how durable they will be but right now they look very good.
