6-Pack Replacement Self Adhesive Foam Sander Pad Back Mat for Sander 4510

First of all this is an excellent value for the price. Super aggressive self adhesive, screw holes are correctly cut. If you are considering this item foe a replacement for a BO4550 keep one thing in mind. The BO4550 has an additional 6 (1/4") holes in the sander pad to accommodate the thru-holes dust collector vacuum system. If you have the template supplied with the new unit just transfer them to the pad before you apply making sure the holes match up with the corresponding holes on the sander's base. It will probably work without the holes but I find it a good feature worthwhile to keep active.

I have two sanders; one battery and one electric but both had badly worn out pads These fit both make and model sanders For the electric one I did not remove the old pad; the only way would be to scrape it off so I just cleaned the pad with my spray kitchen bleach cleaner, let it dry and stuck this replacement pad on it. I used it for two days (about 4/5 hours) and no issues For my battery sander I scraped off the old pad; cleaned the base; and stuck the replacement pad on and just did some test sanding; in reality, it was no different than the other sander The quantity and price seemed an okay value It beats buying a new sander

My sander's pad had worn out grinder and couldn't work for a long time before I replaced with this product. I failed to buy the pad from the manufacturer, and wanted to buy a new one before I found it. The pad works well and has worked for a long time, it is time to replace a new pad now. The holes on the pad don't match my sander but it doesn't matter, the only thing bad is the sander can't collect the dust due to no holes on the right position,and the rubber seems not as durable as the original one.

These worked well. The holes didn't line up for my Porter and Cable palm sander . The overall size was good. I didn't punch out their holes. i affixed it to the base and punched my own holes through the base with a screwdriver. These pads gave new life to my palm sander.

First off, the pad is narrower than I would expect. My sander is an off-brand machine from 20 years back but it still is a quarter sheet setup. Not too sure where they get their measurements from. Not a huge deal as I was able to cut a narrow strip to from the extra pads to make up for the narrow cushion. Other than that, it is an ok product that fits the bill.
