sleepkings 4ft 6 Double Divan Guest Bed. 3 in 1 Guest Divan Bed with 2 x Mattresses Trundle and Matching Headboard

This bed looks great in the pictures for an occasional use guest bed.Unfortunately it's extremely cheaply & badly made, the base has hardly any "real quality timber" in it and is mostly what looks like cardboard, the support timber is few and far between as is clearly the same sort of material you would see on wooden pallets.The holes for the feet & castors are so badly drilled and the inserts so badly inserted that you can't get them in properly even with a rubber mallot. I managed to get one in only by removing the insert, un-mangling it and clearing out the hole before putting it back in.The other plastic "foot" snapped to pieces with the amount of effort it took just to get it halfway in.Without the feet the pull out guest bed won't fit under the main bed so I've had to order replacements on E-Bay.The mattresses seem ok but I haven't decided yet if I'll let a human being sleep on the bed in case it collapses on them at 2am.The headboard seems ok too, and the communication with regards to delivery was good so it gets it's one star there.I think this is the last item of furniture I'll buy online.What a disappointment!Edit- I've since contacted customer support, I will update with how I get on.Edit 2 - After contacting customer support, they at first didn't bother reading my email properly, then eventually someone started paying attention. They did their best to help me I have to say but they were unable to satisfy me fully.By my reckoning I thought the bed was worth half the price I paid £354.89, minus some for the fact I had already repaired the defects with the bed (see photos) and that I didn't want to return it (as I repaired it already).Taking all that into account I would've been happy with a £100 discount.After at first offering me £25, then £35 they made me a final offer at £50.This still isn't good enough, but after having spent weeks with frustrating emails back and forth and after the work I put into it the bed is at least "serviceable" I settled for that.The bed I received was not the quality advertised, worse than that it wasn't even properly made (the few pieces that had to be assembled didn't fit due to manufacturing defects).Just for comparison, a few years ago I bought a convertible sofa bed from Amazon for around the same price. It was fantastic quality and I kept it for years, it never developed so much as a creak and I gave it to a friend in the end for further use.I hope this review helps others.
