Good Quality with Good Price.
Firstly, I managed to get this at the $15 price so I didn’t expect a whole lot beyond simple functionality. But upon opening the package I found it had a bit of weight and sturdiness to it. I gotta say, it’s pretty solid. The grips on the phone and on whatever optics you’re using is firm without needing to be ridiculously torqued down. Once the two elements are positioned normal usage should not budge them from alignment. But there lies the one drawback; establishing good alignment takes a bit of effort. The knob to secure the phones position is not in the most convenient location but it works. I’ve already taken some test pics and so far I’m happy. Now we’ll just have to see if the quality lasts. I’ll update that later. Additionally, the phone clamp will open up to 3.75”, the eyepiece clamp opens to 1.75”. I believe that should fit most phones and standardized telescopes & binoculars.

Nice device, works as expected
Nice item to securely hold your phone to binoculars. It took me a little trial and error to work the positioning, but not bad. Definitely try it out before you need it. It could be enhanced by adding an elastic strip. Allowed me to get closer to a bald eagle for a pic. Build quality is good.

Meh
Pretty janky. Very difficult to get in the right spot.

Works
Works, albeit one needs to get used to lining it up. With my I phone it’s necessary to focus then put the phone on and line it up. I have a fair spotting scope and have had good success.

Nearly impossible to attach to binoculars by oneself
I got this as part of a bundle with a pair of Celestron binoculars. Its nearly impossible to attach it correctly on your own, it really needs a third hand to attach (one to hold the binoculars, one to hold the phone in the exact right position, and a third to tighten the back screw). Some other negatives: - The space between the eyepiece holder and the phone mount point is to shallow. For the Celestron binoculars that it came with, attaching the eyepiece holder securely to the eyepiece, the eye cups stick out further than the phone mount bed, so the phone can't be attached flat against the bed. - As mentioned above, it really takes 3 hands to correctly mount to binoculars. Might not be a problem with a telescope, but it was bundled with binoculars, so I expected it to work with them. - As you tighten the back screw to keep the phone in the right place, even if you're careful tightening it causes it to tilt the phone slightly. This adjusts the phone's view, making it not centered unless you take that into account with the phone's position before tightening it. - The rubber mount points for both the eyepiece and phone are not soft enough. If you tighten it too much, you can break your binoculars or phone. The adapter would be 1000x better if the phone placement adjuster didn't allow the phone to move freely, and instead worked similar to the phone bed screw, where tightening/loosening it would adjust its position.

Sturdy Metal Construction & Easy To Adjust Precisely
Ready to use out if the box. Well constructed. It's easy to use and has a very precise mechanism which allows the user to align the camera to the eyepiece. Can be used with binoculars, telescopes and microscopes. It would be better if it were constructed from a lighter weight metal. Make sure that the 1.77 in capacity for the diameter of your eyepiece is enough. My binoculars had a 1.5 inch eyepiece, however the rubber eyecups brought the diameter to just over the maximum capacity of the unit. If your eye pieces are 1.5 in and have rubber cups, then I recommend that you purchase the Celestron - NexYZ DX Kit - 3-Axis Universal Smartphone Adapter. I am awaiting delivery of one of these models today which allows for up to 2 inch eyepieces. I will continue to use my present unit for my microscope and my telescope.

Attached a really heavy Galaxy S21 Ultra to a small spotting scope and it holds the weight of the phone no problem, No bending causing the camera to move away from the scope eyepiece. Takes a few minutes to line up but once it is lined up it works quite well. Holds my Galaxy S21 Ultra in a medium thick case. 10/10 would order again (but I probably wont have to due to the metal build).

Screw cap fell off and unable to fix it back. Total dud.

Am Anfang etwas schwierig, Funktioniert aber einwandfrei wenn man herausgefunden hat wie. Bei einem Mikroskop ist es ohne Halter unmöglich, gute Bilder zu machen.
