Style:320 Grit This is a 10-pack of quality silicon carbide belts for belt sanders that take 1" x 30" belts. Great for light to medium metal removal and refining the edge. Some edges can stop here and others may be taken further.

BIGGEST RIPOFF EVER
HORRIBLE!RIP OFF!TOTAL SCAM!These belts are complete junk...might as well flush the money that these cost down the toilet. These belts are micro thin (LIKE A SHEET OF PAPER) as they do not have any backing and break at the slightest pressure applied. 100% WORTHLESS JUNK!The store that sells these belts should be ashamed.

Great for thinning edges.
I put this on my belt grinder when the edges of my kitchen knives need thinning. It takes longer to put on the belt than to sharpen several knives - it takes less than 5 seconds a side for a 10” blade. Restores the edges faster and produces a finer grind than most of my whet stones, most of which are way to coarse, and those which aren't take a very long time on the hard stainless steel of my Wustoff and Henckles knives when they get to where they no longer respond to the steel. Of course sharpening steels do need to be replaced occasionally, but not nearly as often as blades needs thinning. If I could find a finer grit in a belt, I would try it, but this works admirably.

Do not buy. No quality control.
Do not buy!! Unfortunately my belt sander did not arrive until too late to return these 10 belts. The belts are not 30". I even cut one to measure and it is exactly 29" which will not fit my belt sander. This company must have no quality control to be this far off so I will not purchase any more from them. I will say the 1000 grit I also purchased fit fine and I like them but will not chance using this company again.

It reads 1 by 30 but didnt fit
I ordered a few different belts ranging in grits to use to sharpen my knives but for some reason these were a bit shorter so no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get them to fit my belt sander. don't know if I just happened to get a bad bach but kind of sucks. I couldn't understand at first and thought maybe I ordered the wrong size? But how all the other ones were the same 1/30 and they all fit just fine, even the leather belt I ordered fit just fine. These were just shy and didn't fit so are pretty useless. I just cut them and use them to hand sand rather then spend the time and effort to return them.

Great for putting a fine edge on a knife.
Holy smoke! I got these to put a fine edge on some knife blades, man do they work. I haven't cut myself with my own knife for as long as I can remember. That is until I sharpened one with one of the 1500 grit belts. I didn't even feel it cut me. I must have just brushed the blade against my hand. It was several minutes later before I notice the blood. I couldn't believe it. Like a razor. I am using this as a final stage with just a little pressure at about 20 degrees and Bam! Knife ready for action. No more clumsy attempts with a fine whetstone for me.

Nice quality belts
Finally had the opportunity to use these to sharpen knife blades. I took down the entire kitchen knife collection and sharpened on these 400grit belts (I typically use the "fine" grit belts from a local store). It only takes a few seconds on each side to resharpen the blades. This time I followed the 400 grit with a 1x30 leather honing strop and the wife was extremely happy with the results. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015UKDXYY/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_8

Quality abrasives at a great price
The Keystone Abasives 600 and 1000 grit wet/dry 1" x30" belts are excellent quality. I was able to sharpen 10 knives and 8 chisels as well as 2 plane irons with one belt of each grit.I tried to fit the 1" x 30" leather stripping belt on my Harbor Freight belt sander and it was too short to begin with. Stretching overnight corrected this but it's still a prett tight fit. Does not slow down or stall the motor though.Overall all products are excellent

2000 Grit belt warning!
I've never left a 1 star review before, and if it was possible to leave 0, that's what I would have given it.I can only speak on the 2000 grit belt, and let me tell you, it's horrible. Super thin! It's so thin that the adhesive tape that holds the ends together creates a bump in the belt. The knives I tried to sharped turned out more dull than they were to start with due to the blade bouncing every time the adhesive came around. Totally and completely useless as a fine grit belt. When I first opened the package I thought they had miss-shipped my order and only included one belt. In fact, there were 10 belts in the package, but the belts were so thin that all 10 together would have made a single quality belt.I hope you are smarter than I was and look at the reviews on this 2000 grit belt.
