Listerine Gentle Gum Care Interdental Floss for Sensitive Gums, Oral Care, Mint, 50 Yards (Pack of 4)

This product was recommended to me by my hygienist years ago, and I had been using it faithfully ever since. I was saddened when I began to struggle to find the product on the shelves in recent months. I settled for the waxed floss version in the meantime, but I find it a bit too harsh on my gum line. I like the softer touch of this woven floss, and the cinnamon flavor isn't too bad either. I was so happy when I thought to check Amazon, and I found exactly what I had been missing in my oral hygiene routine. I highly recommend this product, especially for those with sensitive gums.

I have mixed feelings on this product. The product description states "Formerly know as "Reach Gentle Gum Care" which it is with two differences which some people myself included did not like. Unlike the former product this one now contains cinnamon and no flouride. It wasn't listed anywhere on the product listing but it has it and once you open the package its printed right on the dispensor. I have been offered a refund on it but really wish that it was just the "mint" flavored with flouride like it was when it was sold under the Reach brand name. Other than the cinnamon it is like the gentle gum care floss that is no longer available. The woven floss is imo much easier and gentle to use. If this did not have the cinnamon I would give it 5 stars. If you like cinnamon then you will probably be very happy with the product. Perhaps Amazon will correctly label this product soon or even better they will come out with just the mint flavored version that was well received and people are still in search of.....The crazy thing is that on auction sites the original with mint and flouride is being offered at ten plus per single item. You would think listerine would be smart enough to bring back the original that Reach sold.

Very good floss at a very good price.Some other reviews noted that the quality of the is product (and its predecessor) seem to have declined over the years. I agree that it does seem a bit thinner. Still, it's the best floss I've every found and really gives my teeth a good cleaning. I like that nice woven floss squeak that you just don't get with thin floss or any thickness of waxed floss.Some reviewers complain about the cinnamon flavor. I, too, prefer mint flavor. But really, the cinnamon is not that bad. In the end, as long as the taste is pleasant enough, my big concern is the cleaning ability of the floss.This floss continues to earn the highest rating, because despite some changes over the years, it still seems to be the best on the market.The vendor was able to get this floss to me at my home for less than the cost of my going to the store for it. This clinched the deal for me, and I expect to purchase this product, from them, again when I use it up.

I like this floss because I have sensitive gums but it's pretty thick. It kind of feels like putting a thick string in between your teeth and it doesn't have a coating on it to make it glide easily. I don't dislike this product but I just wasn't aware that it was like that. All in all, I do like it for the sensitivity factor and my gums haven't bled from day one of using it.

So glad these are online here to buy, because stores never have this in stock anymore. You're lucky to find a store that keeps 'em in stock! I refuse to use any other dental floss. This is the only floss that pulls out sooo much stuff. For example, Glide, the brand, it just glides past all the crap that this one pulls put. This is the one!!!!!!!!!!!!! No other dental floss works as good as this one. Hands down, it's the best, and I don't feel comfortable using any other brand, or type! This is the only woven floss that's gentle on gums, and tough on grime!

I recommend this floss. I am a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist and I have been recommending this gloss to nearly all of my patients. It’s softness & fuzziness attracts easier removal of dental plaque which is the initiation of many health problems such as diabetes heart disease cancer strokes & dental problems so yes this particular floss is a helpful lifesaver. A more thorough cleaning you will have with this floss. I even use it myself. I buy it as well to use on my patients because it’s hard to find in the stores. The floss is also double intertwined which is an even more plus. Make sure you use a very long piece of floss nearly the length of your forearm when flossing make sure you go back into any area where you’re finding food particles especially 2 to 7 times with a new part of the floss until it’s immaculately cleaned. 🦷

This floss was recommended to me by my dental hygienist and I am so glad she did. It is so much better than regular floss! It actually scrubs (gently, no pain) against your teeth and gums to remove debris, rather than most other floss that glides on the surface removing very little. The thread provides a surface for the debris to attach to. My teeth and gums are much healthier now.

It's almost what I wanted. When Johnson & Johnson renamed their dental floss from Reach to Listerine they didn't come out with all the options they once had. I'd used one of their similar flosses for years and it was dropped in the renaming. Turned out my local grocery store had the one I'd been using on a terrific sale to get rid of it so they could stock the new name. I bought 'um out. It was between 10 & 15 packages. This took me for a long time. But, recently I ran out and had to buy this very similar version. I used plain string floss for years ( POH Dental Floss Unwaxed 100 yd 4 PACK ). This floss is fuzzy and cleans between my teeth better.Some say this floss is better  Listerine Ultraclean Mint Floss 30 Yards (Pack of 2) , but it costs 50% more.
