Great. Affordable. Easy to install. Sounds lovely.
Worked perfectly fine! I even have it hooked up to a Wyze door bell camera, and it rings the mechanical chime. It sounds beautiful and was not hard to install.

Perfect doorbell chime
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This doorbell chime sounds great, looks good and is very easy to install. For a very reasonable price, I updated my doorbell in under 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend.Color:White

Good basic doorbell. Easy to install.
Works good. Easy to install. My only complaint is there isn’t enough room under the cover to put the little dongle you need for the nest doorbell. So I had to stick it on the outside of the case.

Works with SimpliSafe Doorbell.
Her is my story: When I bought my house, the previous owners had already installed a Ring doorbell. We transferred "ownership" and it worked great. In the meantime, we installed a SimpliSafe security system that we had brought from my previous home. last month, I decided to bite the bullet and switch to the SimpliSafe doorbell so all of my cameras can be in one app and save the Ring annual fee. But the tech-craziness then began. The SimpliSafe worked beautifully, but would NOT ring my doorbell's chime even though Ring did. I tried everything. Multiple phone calls with SimpliSafe support (worthless), changed the transformer to a more powerful 16V 30VA. Nope. So, I bought this Chime out of desperation. BAM, it works! So, if you want to use a SimpliSafe doorbell, this doorbell will work with it. One note: You still have to use the "chime connector" that SimpliSafe includes. If you don't, while this doorbell will "Ding", it makes a noticeable humming sound, which can't be good.

Simple and Versatile.
I liked this one since it had the option to use as a primary or secondary door use. So it has two inputs for two different doors with each having its own transformer (not included). I don't like too much noise so I used the second door bell and adjusted it so it just did the DING sound rather than DING DONG. It looks clean and very basic looking and I was not looking for an austentacious design. It fit easily with the existing transformer system that was already in place. Overall, a simple install and clean look with just the features I was looking for.

working as expected
Replacing my old chime with this one was easy. The chime is old-fashioned in its design but the tune sounds pretty good. I reused my existing push button but had to remove the diode as it would otherwise constantly 'pushing'. I am not sure if the diode has gone bad or not. But removing it solved the problem.I just wish there was a way to control the volume. It's a bit loud for my taste. The cover design is also very poor. It's flimsy, and takes lots of cajoling to replace it after the installation of the base is done. Actually I was done with cajoling and had to force it really hard to attach it in the end. And why in the world do you need FOUR screws to fasten this little device to the wall?

The bar chime CHM2 tone is musical and beautiful!
The CHM2 doorbell sound is absolutely beautiful. For some reason, this is an extremely hard to find a trait and a doorbell… Most of them sound absolutely awful. I’m universally considered ton deaf and people complain if I try to sing, but I thought almost every doorbell on the market just sounded terrible and made me wince. The CHM2 is a bar chime doorbell, which means it has xylophone type metal bars on the inside, and they have been carefully tuned by somebody!! Thank you to this person who had some musical training who works in the doorbell factory and helped design this! Now the housing, is another matter altogether. It’s just a big hunk of white rounded plastic, and the plastic housing is actually a lot wider than the doorbell itself. Fortunately, it snapped off, and I got a Saillong doorbell chime cover here on Amazon and the whole thing looks extremely classy. It fits over the CHM2 if you pull the white plastic cover off first. I think the combination looks and sounds as nice as the $300 to $400 doorbells that are being sold on rejuvenation.com!

Classic ding-dong chime
My OEM door chime (now 22 years old) finally gave up the ghost - the sound bar broke off the end and it had become a sad and nearly inaudible "clunk". After some research, I found this chime, which was a perfect drop-in replacement with the class ding-dong sound. Simple installation and work perfectly the first time.
