CJ Industries F-1 Fantastic Ice Scraper with Brass Blade, Red 6 Pack

This is a great light duty scraper. It makes short work of the light frost that builds up on your car windows overnight in freezing weather. If it snows, or there's a freezing rain you need to use this in combination with a heavier toothed scraper to break up and get rid of the heavy accumulations. Then come along behind with this one to clean off the lighter residue and those pesky lines left behind by the larger one. When you're done your windows will be as clean and clear as if the car had been in the garage overnight.Brass is softer than glass and this shouldn't scratch. I've never had it scratch my glass, and have no idea why other reviewers are having that problem.It's a bit short - a little less than 9 inches overall - but I'm an average size guy and have no trouble reaching to the center my Jeep Grand Cherokee's windshield with it.

I've used brass scrapers for years. My father gave me my first one when I got my first car. They are much more effective than plastic scrapers and do not damage windshields. Frost is removed from the windshield in one smooth stroke. I purchased these to replace one with a broken handle. It lasted 10 years and the blade was still fine. In fact the last time I bought one I could only find them in bulk so I had to buy a box of 24. My co-workers each got one for Christmas that year. One of them emailed me recently to find out where she could get another. I guess the plastic handle has about a 10-year lifespan. I sent her the link to these.

Best and most effective scraper I've ever used for ice and hard packed frost and snow. I wish it had a longer handle. I've broken a few; the handle is a bit brittle. But the breakage was probably more because of aggressive window scraping than any fault in the product. I usually buy 6 at a time and give them to friends, colleagues and random strangers when they're gawking at how easily I'm clearing my windows in 20 below VT weather.

I had a scraper years ago with the metal edge, it was the best ever, somewhere it dissappeared. I ran across these and ordered. Not as heavy duty as what I had, but already used it several times for the light ice on my windshield and it works so much better than plastic ones.

This is truly the best Ice Scraper I've ever used! I purchased 6 of them to give as Stocking stuffers for my kids and family and every one thought it was a weird gift until they had to use it and I heard the same from all that it worked great even on thick ice and frost. I hope they last and not break or where out real fast. I guess we will see.

Nothing cleans frost off a windshield like a brass edged scraper. The handle isn't as stout as I remember on previous examples I've used but adequate for my intended use. If scraping an actual layer of ice it's helpful to run the defroster for a while. I have gifted several to people in my life and they are equally impressed.

A bit small but still haven't broken. Sure cannot beat the blade material!

This scraper really works on most ice. When the ice is real hard and thick you have to be careful not to bend the blade but it works better than most scrapers on most frost and ice.
