Gorgeous!
This is the most realistic animal figurine I've seen so far! She's absolutely beautiful, exquisitely crafted, down to every hair. The colors are right, the color transition between the darker main coat and the lighter underside is gradual and natural, the detail on the face is carefully painted and very realistic. She even has paw pads painted on the underside of her feet. I got her the male lion from PAPO as well and they look great together, although he's quite a bit darker in color. There's one thing I'm not happy about. On all my other PAPO models, the production information has always been subtly embossed on the underside of the belly, with no color; however, on this lioness, this information has been moved from the belly to the thighs, spanning both of them, which is more visible. Moreover, in addition to the standard embossed tagging, there's a four-digit number painted in *black* on the inside of one of her thighs. It's very jarring against her pale thigh, and completely unnecessary, given that all the other information is still only subtly embossed with no color. I don't understand why this had to be done, why in color and why in such a visible place, and why this figurine has to have it at all given that none of the others do. I know it must sound silly, but it's somewhat reminiscent of those concentration camp number tattoos, so I'm not crazy about it.Oh, and one last thing - there are these weird lines going across the sides of the body, which look like scorch marks or burn scars. Upon a closer look, I think it's an attempt to enhance the muscle definition with darker paint, but the effect isn't very natural.Despite my complaints, I'd still give her 5 stars because she's so gorgeous and lifelike, and so much better than anything else that's out there!

Very Realistic
My grandson loves big cats and I bought several from Amazon for Christmas this last year. This Papo lioness was very nice and so realistic too. My grandson really liked it a lot and I always appreciate good finds from Amazon. This was a very successful gift and I will be looking for more big cats on Amazon.

Nice little Toy
My children just love wild cats and they play with these ALL OF THE TIME. They bathe with them and take them in the backyard, get them covered in mud and then gives them baths. Every day starts with a hunt for all of their cat toys like this one.
