Works good bought 2 of them 1 for me and 1for my son. Cuts braid and mono good and clean. Clip comes in handy to just clip to your bag so you don’t have to search for it in a pocket

I love this tool!It's convenient.When not fishing I clip it to the outside of my fishing backpack to save space.Because the scissors retract they don't cut or poke holes in things.When fishing I often clip them to my belt loop.When I need to tie a fishing lure or trim some fishing line they are quick and handy.Keep end mind that there is a trade-off for the convenience.These don't cut perfectly clean for thick diameter fishing line.Around 40lbs and below and they work great.Above that and they still work but it's harder to cut and doesn't cut as clean.I almost never have to re-tie anything over 20lbs so these are great for my needs.

Excellent value and handy. Scissors and knifes are a pain to use out on the water or on the shore. This product is very compact and well made. Cutting is effortless.

sharp, compact, well-made, cuts mono and fluoro perfectly, braid a little less so, but still nice. my only issue is that it requires more hand strength than i think it should to operate. i have an damaged hand and it can be difficult to depress the sides to cut. i think there are better choices if the customer has any hand issues, like arthritis.

First off, yes I know I have a spinning reel on a bait casting rod… just using it to spool up my reels since the other rods were in travel cases.I attached about 8-12” of paracord and added a carabiner so I can easily clip this to a belt, jacket, pack, or tackle box. This has come in very handy already on a few local bass fishing trips but I’m doing a fly in fishing trip to Ontario where you often have to quickly tie knots while also driving a small boat and cutting line precisely can be a challenge. Wish I had one of these sooner

This line cutter is good mono line but not really for braid.

Ergonomically outstanding. I bought it to cut braided fishing line, which is hard to cut with nail clippers or plain scissors. I do wish they made these out of titanium or even aluminum. It has a carabiner built in, so you can keep it in one of your belt loops. It took almost a month from ordering this item to actually having it in my hands. Might want to just go to a physical store and buy it. This is a must-have item if you are a fisherman.
