Perfect for my purpose.
My 40+ year old Cuisinart processor finally needed to be replaced.I purchased a 14 cup DFP-14BKSY model. This disk holder works perfectly.Holds the chopping blade, the disc stem and both of the discs. There is room for an additional disc if I decide to add one. I know a lot of reviews mention the lack of a bottom. This is a non-issue for me, I have it in an cabinet, I can open it and remove the pieces I need without moving the holder. However if you do keep it on a counter and are concerned about the lack of a bottom - you really don't have to be. The chopping blade when inserted correctly is not exposed, it slides into a groove that keeps it from being a danger. The discs, again if you insert them correctly, particularly the slicing disc, the actual sharp blade not accessible from the open bottom. This is a vast improvement from the disc hold that came with my original unit. It held only the discs and wasn't covered. There was no way to safely store the chopping blade besides keeping the processor assembled or using a plastic container for it. This holds all the accessories perfectly.

Great, sturdy holder keeps sharp processor blades out of your way.
I'm very happy with my BDH-2 Blade and Disc holder. I hadn't even opened my Cuisinart DLC-10S Food Processor until I finally ordered this, because I knew there was no way I'd feel free to use the processor and leave it accessible without having to hide the blades or risk getting cut. Each of the blades and the disc stem fit neatly in this holder, which I find to be more than sturdy enough. No, the spatula doesn't fit in there, but that is the least of my worries, although I suppose fitting every item in would be nice. I have plenty of utensil canisters and drawers where I can lose, I mean store, the spatula. The holder locks and unlocks easily, with a sturdy turn knob that doesn't require a pull and turn as the old reviews --and the first to pop up-- mention. Is it childproof? No, and I don't feel it is sold as such. Quite certain it could be opened with a bit of effort by young kids, but then again, I feel this is to protect ME, not kids. It is a neat, safe place to store the blades. I'd recommend it to anyone having the Food Processors it works with.

Snug as a bug! 😃
I just received this yesterday and set it up with my attachments! Everything fits snugly and safely! I like that it has a lock on it, so it can’t open unexpectantly. I keep it up on the top shelf in my cabinet and that is a good safety feature, for sure! It’s lightweight and compact. Easy cleaning, just wipe down. It works well for storage. I was using my original storage box from my Kitchenaid processor, but of course, it didn’t fit well and I saw an accident waiting to happen! I even bought the dough blade, which has the spot for it!!! Now I’m all set! Perfect purchase! Can’t go wrong…

Handy, recommended, but
This is a handy device to store the parts that come with the Cuisinart food processor (the Prep 7 in my case). It attractive, keeps the parts protected, easily accessible, and clean. And really there isn't a good alternative and the price on Amazon was pretty decent, so I'd recommended it.However I am happy the price wasn't higher because if I had to pay close to the retail price I'd be disappointed by the lack of any positive engagement to hold the dough blade in place. It depends only on placement and gravity to keep the blade place - moving the holder causes it to slide about inside. It would be nice if the holder were heavier, or had some weight added to the bottom to keep the it in place when trying to open it, especially when trying to open the lock with one hand. And tied with the weight, a (removable) bottom to protect fingers from getting to the blades from beneath.I wonder how many people buy more than 1 extra blade for their Cuisinart? If it is rare than I guess having room for three is enough for most people who might buy 1 more to go with the 2 that come with the food processor, but I'd like to see a version that holds 5 or 6 of the circular blades. Yes, I know they sell the "pancake" style that only holds the circular blades that I could use for the "overflow", but it doesn't match this design.

Only wish it had more blades
Been awhile since I bought this, but better late than never. Good addition to the Cuisinart 14 Cup Food Processor I had bought previously. It works like a charm and keeps the two blades, blade adapter, dough hook blade and main blade protected and dust free while not in use.

Keeps those nice sharp things organized
Well this isn't a necessity. It is a good accessory to keep in mind some of those blades that you buy for the Cuisinart are very sharp and the last thing you need to do is go grab one in a drawer and remove part of your digits. This thing holds them nice is made by the company that makes them and is of good quality
