Pointless, no suction
Well, this product has zero suction capacity, so not sure why they advertise it as a 'suction placement'. It lasted for about 1 second before my toddler ripped it off the table and threw it on the floor. Since this was what I bought it for, I'm seeing if I can send it back/get refund. Avoid if suction is what you need.Also took a long time to arrive. Have found it difficult to clean, though it has not been used dust and bits of food seem to stick to it very easily.UPDATE: Was offered 50% of purchase price as compensation. Keep your money and buy something else.

Flimsy and doesn’t stick to any tables
I bought this as we are doing baby led weaning and I hoped it would help to stop food falling to the floor as my baby learns to eat. The little channel for catching food is so flimsy it wouldn’t hold anything and the actual placemat part doesn’t stick to any table I’ve tried and I’ve tried surfaces that other bowls that we use stick/suction to.

Great idea not a-lot of suction
Very handy when out with a little one! Only down side is that it doesn’t have any suction so is very easy for little hands to pull off of the table. Easy to wipe over while out and to put in the sink when home, dry’s quickly as well.

The mat works but not as a suction mat. I've never managed to get it to stick to anything but my wee boy loves using it because he enjoys playing with the bit that catches the food.
