Powerful, convenient, and perfect
Powerful, convenient, and perfect for furniture assembly – Highly recommend!I received the SKIL Rechargeable 4V Cordless Pistol Grip Screwdriver with 42pcs Bit Set, USB Charger, and Carrying Case a couple of weeks ago and it has already proven to be an excellent tool.I used it extensively while assembling my new office desk, and it performed really well. The screwdriver has surprisingly good power for its compact size — it drove screws into hardwood and particle board quickly and smoothly without struggling. The pistol grip design is comfortable to hold, even during longer assembly sessions. What I loved most:The 42-piece bit set includes almost every size and type I needed, so I didn’t have to search for the right bit.USB rechargeable battery with decent runtime — easily lasted through the entire desk assembly on a single charge. The carrying case keeps everything organized and easy to store.Lightweight and ergonomic, which reduced hand fatigue during use. This little tool made putting together my office desk much faster and easier than using a regular manual screwdriver. It’s perfect for furniture assembly, home repairs, and everyday tasks around the house.Highly recommend the SKIL 4V Cordless Screwdriver Kit for anyone who does DIY projects or furniture assembly!Five stars – great power and complete accessory kit! 🔧

Works great.
Perfect for what I wanted, a small power screwdriver so I don’t have to get out my full size drill to put things together or take them apart. It works great for bench work for taking electronics and small things apart. I keep it on my workbench and it’s easy to grab and do small jobs. It is not a drill or an impact driver so no expectation that it will drive a screw into new un-drilled work. I chose the pistol grip over the one that adjusts straight because I wanted something uncomplicated and I like the pistol grip as it is. It breaks reasonably tight screws loose and tightens screws sufficiently. Great little tool.

Good Quality at a Decent Price
This tool is small, light weight, and fits the hand well. You get quite a bit of work on a single charge. It also has impressive torque for such a compact device. Based on first impressions during a couple of hours of various uses, and considering the $23 price, I like it.

Excellent Product, but I was sent a used item
I ordered a new one, but the drill I got was in a small, plain brown box wrapped in plastic with a sticker that said "thanks for giving this product a new life." The drill appears brand new and unused, but the accessories (and the drill) were just loose in the box. Nothing new is packaged without being in unnecessary plastic, loose in a plain box these days. Especially Skill, a relatively well known and respected brand. It would allow the product to bump around in the box, ultimately risking damage and costing the manufacturer or distributor extra money. It was clearly repackaged. That being said, though dusty, it was in perfect condition and works fine. Small enough to throw in a drawer, and low power enough to use to put together IKEA style furniture without ruining it, as is way too easy to do with even a small drill. My only criticism is that it only has a spot to store two extra drill bits on the drill itself. I think that is standard, but I would prefer it to have even maybe a small compartment where I could hold perhaps four or five bits. I try to be cognizant of using the right sized bit for a screw head, and if I only have a few available, I am tempted to use the wrong size and risk damaging whatever I am attempting to repair or assemble.Great product. Amazon sent a used product, but in perfect condition. I don't mind used products, as there is too much crap in the world anyways. However, I did not order a used product in this instance. Just a heads up.

My arthritic paws thank you!
This is the best little screwdriver ever, and I have Milwaukee M12, M18, an older Bosch 4V, the Ryobi 4V, and this one is great for light work with my arthritic hands. It won't replace my Milwaukees, but at the price I can afford to stash these all over my house! The charges holds for many days, and it's powerful for say a half hour to hour project.

Worth every penny!
Perfect! If we had known putting stuff together could be this easy...The drill is a handheld appliance and fit like a glove in my hand. My son's hands are larger and he still had ease with using it.It came charged so we we were ready to work. The bit options are many and truthfully, there are some added pieces that I am going to need to research to find out what I can do with them. hahahaIt has a light that helps to see in the corners when drilling. The case is streamlined for efficiency and fits in a drawer for safe keeping not taking up much space at all.It came with a small plastic container that we put some extra screws in again keeping with the small yet efficient theme. We used it with great ease and literally switched out the bits fluidly to size what we needed for the project and voilà, before we knew it, the project was complete. And without argument I might add!!It had more power than expected and the charge lasted for the whole project. In fact, I would say there is probably enough charge left for at least two more projects.Well built, strong and durable.Overall, most definitely a five out of five if not more. Well, worth the money and in today's economy that is saying a lot! Make your life easier and just buy it - you will be grateful you did.

Great product for the price
Great product for the price. Originally purchased to assemble a file cabinet. Dozens of small sheet metal screws. Worked great. Lately I have been using this product to work on a wooden fence and gate. Has enough torque to drive #8 and #10 four inch screws into 6" x 6" posts. I appreciate the pistol grip when doing this...I would not try this with a "flashlight" style grip. Good battery life. I recommend this product.

No more elbow grease needed!
I’m a single, older woman who’s been living alone for about 15 years, and I’ve learned to keep some basic tools around. I never know when I’ll need a hammer, screwdriver, duct tape, etc, and I like to do things on my own if I can, rather than bother male relatives and friends to play the part of handyman. Occasionally I need to tighten up a cabinet hinge or assemble a new piece of cheapie furniture, and I’ve always been able to manage it by myself. My latest little DIY, though, required a bit more elbow grease than I could handle.I ordered these little leg things that you can attach to the slats under your box springs to give your bed a little more stability. Then I remembered that those slats don’t have any pre-drilled holes. Unfortunately, I don’t own a power drill (though it’s now on my Christmas list!), and I knew I wouldn’t be able to manually drive all those screws into those hard wood boards. Normally I’d just hammer a nail partway in, pull it back out, and then work the screw into that hole. But I wasn’t about to do that 24 times — the number of screws I’d need to drive in.I borrowed a power drill from a friend’s husband, and though it’s been many years, I still remember how to use one. But that thing’s pretty powerful, and I didn’t want to drive the screws in too deep or damage the bed slat. So I went looking for a good power screwdriver, too, and after reading too many reviews on too many products, I settled on this one — both because I recognized Skil as being a good brand and because this little tool is pretty small and light, and I’ve got little hands and not a lot of strength.Today I pulled my bed apart, grabbed the power drill and this Skil power screwdriver, and set to work. I had no trouble drilling the holes, and this little screwdriver made driving the screws in pretty easy. And just like other reviewers had commented, the Skil screwdriver had enough power to turn the screws but not so much that they went in too deep before I could stop. The tool itself stopped when it hit its little power limit, so to speak, so my attempt at doing it all myself didn’t end in disaster. And now I’m all set with a much sturdier bed.Of course, now I want a power drill of my own, too, but that’s not in the budget at the moment. And if I’m being honest, I use screwdrivers a lot more than I’d ever need a drill, so this little guy is going to come in handy a LOT. I love that it’s light, small enough to fit my little hands, and so easy to use. Every woman trying to take care of herself without leaning too much on the men in her life should have one of these!

Palm screwdriver
This tool came in in good time. I recently moved and this tool has been put to the test. I used it so much that I'm on my 3rd charge. The tool is powerful enough to sink screws in wall beams. The battery last two days of steady use. I'm not a contract but as a honest owner I use it a lot. It's compact fits perfect in my hands, it come with a sturdy case, and a good assortments of bits.
